The CCA C10 drivers configuration is the exact same as the KZ ZS10 with a 10mm dynamic driver, 2×30095 balanced armature and 2x 50060 balanced armature.
CCA is a brand that has appeared only a couple of months ago with their first model, the CCA C04 an hybrid dual driver earphone. The CCA C10 is their 2nd release positioned as their mid-tier model right below their flagship CCA C16 (16 drivers).

As with most bass-intense earphones, you should expect a sound signature with strong inclination towards the lower frequencies and some out of control mid-bass.

Mids & Vocals
The CCA C10 mids have alive male vocals which are not distant but might show congestion along with lower mids due to some mid-bass that extends over the lower end of their midrange but mostly to their highs tuning (read later on the Highs & Treble section)
Higher mids are very crisp and clear but can get harsh too when spikes are present on some tracks.
Expect super warm mids with full sound and some congestion.
With a basic EQ knowledge, some of their mid-bass bleed can be sedated but male vocals might start to sound akward, also higher mids can easily turn harsh so do not dial them up.
A deep and customized EQ can make the CCA C10 shine and reveal it’s true potential but it will not be an easy task for most users.

Highs & Treble
The CCA C10 highs are fairly bright and resolve some detail, still, there is some “sound stacking” that makes them feel narrow sounding.
Despite their slightly bright tuning they present, at the same time, a dark tint over them due to a rolled off response on the upper end.
Piercing peaks will show up but sibilance might be less pronounced on some songs – yet, both of them will be present on fatiguing-prone tracks.
The CCA C10 obtains a great benefit from an EQ regarding their soundstage with also additional brightness and detail.

The sound leaking out of the CCA C10 is a tiny bit lower than most earphones – not a day and night difference but a slight margin to crank up the volume a bit more before they become too hearable by nearby people.

The soundtests results of the CCA C10, the construction quality, aesthetics, etc. clearly suggest some sort of connection between CCA and KZ.
With an intensely bassy sound and spicy highs spikes, the CCA C10 not only look like many KZ earphones, they also share some similar sound characteristics.
