| Double Dynamic Driver | Neodymium Magnet |
🎧 The MPOW MWE3 features a double dynamic driver configuration with neodymium magnets. MPOW has not disclosed the exact full specs but they seem to have a 6mm dynamic driver and a larger one with an unknown diameter.
By having a 2 dynamic driver design, the audio frequencies are filtered sending to the 6mm driver the upper mid and higher frequencies while the larger dynamic driver takes care of the remaining lower frequencies.
MPOW is a big company with a gigantic amount of products including gadgets, electronic accessories and also sound related products such as Bluetooth speakers, headphones and earphones.
Some of their earphones and headphones are ultra popular and have a huge amount of happy customers like the:
The MPOW MWE3 are very robustly built with housings made entirely of metal, as well as every detail such as the cable bifurcation and 3.5mm plug.
The cables are flat, very rubberized and provide very good anti-tangling capabilities. There is an inline mic/remote (also built in metal) that has a single button that can skip songs, play/pause music and answer reject/calls.
The MPOW MWE3 can be bought only in silver color.

Accessories & Packaging
The MPOW MWE3 unboxing results in just 3 pair of eartips and a small packaging that contains the units and the accessories.
The MPOW MWE3 bass is crazy punchy and very deep but at the same time very boosted and boomy. The unknowingly sized lower frequencies dynamic driver and the neodymium magnet of the MPOW MWE3 will provide a basshead-only style of bass that will be too overdone for most people.
Applying an EQ their mid-bass becomes even punchier while sub-bass gets insanely deep but mudiness becomes extreme.
Running the MPOW MWE3 through our extreme basshead tests they were able to take up to 42% of a Fiio E12 max power (custom basshead EQ, high gain, bass boost) with an insane increase of depth and punch and a basshead rumble and impact inline with the KZ ATE or the Xiaomi Mi Pro HD but nowhere near the Plextone X50M, Senfer 4in1, Sony MDR-EX650AP, Plextone X41M, KZ ZST or Pioneer SE-CX8.

The MPOW MWE3 has mids that are very warm but suffer from extreme levels of mid-bass bleed that extends too much over lower and middle mids making their overall sound very congested and muffled. Higher mids are slightly better but still sound too distant, rolled off and lack crispness.
With an EQ their lower vocals clear up a tiny bit but there are no hopes for MPOW’s mids.
The MPOW MWE3 highs are extremely dark and resolve no detail. Brightness, detail and definition does not seem to be part of the vocabulary of the MPOW MWE3. If you want to force us to find anything positive about their highs is that there are no piercing or sibilant peaks but overall their highs are pretty bad.
An EQ will add some brightness and detail but they will still be very dark and lack detail.
The sound leaking out of the MWE3 is low and noticeably subdued even while listening music at a moderate-high volume.

The MPOW effectively isolate from noises, even while listening to music at a fairly low volume but they will still not provide a full isolation unless you dial up the volume quite a bit.
The housings form factor with a classic bullet shape provide a very comfortable fit that will not generate in-ear soreness no matter how long you wear them. Their fit is also tight and secure to hold up during any normal activities.

Response to Equalization
The out-of-the-box audio quality of the MPOW MWE3 screams for help from an EQ but even with many different EQ combinations they were unable to improve their performance, only a slight increase of brightness was achieved but nothing worthy.
