Periodic Audio Ti Titanium – Review

Periodic Audio Titanium

Periodic Audio Ti Titanium

| Titanium Dynamic Driver | Neodymium Mangets |

? Periodic Audio Ti Titanium, the mid-tier earphone from the brand.

The Titanium name on the model corresponds to it’s pure titanium foil used for the diaphragm.

The brand targets and informs that this model has been created and tuned with a V-shaped, aggressive sound to fulfill the sound preference of people enjoying strong-bass genres.

Differently to the Mg model, the Ti required more power to be driven – though truly the Mg are atypically easy to drive and the Ti are normally easy to drive.

B

Bass & Sub Bass

The Periodic Audio Ti Titanium bass is very powerful with a rich sound and vivacious tuning.

The Ti bass response is tuned to fulfill anybody’s requirements for intense mid-bass and sub-bass, with no shortage at any given time.

Listeners enjoying punchy mid-bass and very deep sub-bass might be happy with the Ti, though there are deeper and punchier earphones out there.

Crazy depth gets revealed by an EQ and very noticeable increment of their punch cane be squeezed out.

M

Mids & Vocals

The Periodic Audio Ti Titanium mids have very warm sound with substantial mid-bass bleed and laid back male vocals.

Their lower midrange will suffer from some congestion but might be welcome by listeners enjoying highly-warm midrange.

Their higher mids are not recessed nor rolled-off, showing a crisp and clear sound.

On the other hand, this higher midrange tuning might turn into some harshy peaks with some tracks.

An EQ can help to organize and clean up a bit their midrange with much clear male vocals and overall sound yet keeping their very warm profile.

H

Highs & Treble

The Periodic Audio Ti Titanium resolve a fair amount of detail and offer sufficient brightness that is, unfortunately, darkened and congested by the very powerful mid-bass bleeding.

Sibilant and piercing peaks are not extremely strong despite some appearance from time to time but do expect to perceive them.

Highs get noticeably refined and cleaned up by a complex custom EQ aiming to boost most of the upper end and taming down their lower frequencies.

Sound Leak

The sound leakage of the Ti is somewhat inline with most normal earphones.

When dialing way up the volume they can become substantially hearable by nearby people but remain fairly under control at moderate/low volume settings.
