Takstar INGPING H60 – Review

Takstar INGPING H60

Takstar INGPING H60

| 10 mm Driver |

? The Takstar INPGING H60 review will try to discover if these earphones are able to keep up to the reputable standards that Takstar already have for their headphones.

The housings of the Takstar INGPING H60 are plastic and tiny with a feather-like overall weight, the red and black color selection makes them nice and quite high-class looking. Inside the super tiny housings there is a, larger than average, 10 mm driver that Takstar had to opt to place them rotated to be able to fit this diameter of dynamic driver into such a small earpiece, which is something that we have seen in the past in our review of the marvelous Sony MDR-7550/800ST. To add to the premium feel they are provided with a very nice packaging and a huge array of accessories.

The Takstar INPGING H60 are beautifully designed with a form factor identical to the Cogoo T02! but they designed them to be used straight ahead as a normal earphone and not with the cable above and around the ears as Cogoo did with the T02. Of course, physically as the design is the same you can use them with the cable in a sport style and they will perfectly fit but you will have to invert the earpieces, meaning that you will have to place the left earpiece in your right ear and the right one in your left ear.

The cable of the Takstar INPING H60 is rounded and well rubberized with a good performance against tangling issues, the plug section is made of metal and there are no options of microphone or a button control.

You can buy the Takstar INGPING H60 in one color option only: red with black details.

Accessories & Packaging

The packaging and accessories of the Takstar INGPING H60 are among the most premium and best equipped earphones that we have reviewed so far. The packaging is a very large solid magnetic closure cardboard box that holds inside 2 extra pair of eartips, 2 pair of deep fit eartips, a cable clip, a 6.3mm to 3.5mm plug adapter, a very nice and long extension cable and a strongly built carrying case.

B

Bass & Sub Bass

Bass coming from the 10 mm dynamic driver of the Takstar INGPING H60 is super punchy and very deep out of the box without the need of any EQ. Bass is extremely fun, energetic and will suffice absolutely any type of music genres, even heavily intensive and bass demanding genres.

If an EQ is used their bass becomes crazily punchy and super deep.

During our extreme bass tests the Takstar INGPING H60 handled 43% of a Fiio E12 portable amplifier maximum power while been set to high gain, bass boost turned on and applying a custom basshead EQ. The use of this extreme amplification allowed them to obtain a huge increment in their mid-bass and sub-bass but still they were unable to provide any type of basshead rumble or impact with a level way below the KZ ATE and any of the Top Basshead Earphones like the Sony MDR-7550/800ST, Pioneer SE-CX8, Puma Bulldogs, Plextone X41M, Plextone X50M, KZ ZST, KZ ZS2, KZ ZS1, Pioneer SE-CX9, Senfer 4in1, Xiaomi Mi Quantie Pro Hybrid or the Elecom EHP-CA3580.

M

Mids & Vocals

Mids of the Takstar INGPING H60 are warm with cozy vocals and smooth higher mids that are never harsh. Mid-bass bleeding could make them sound somewhat recessed for more demanding listeners. It is noteworthy that you have to enjoy warm mids or you will dislike these earphones. An EQ makes them much less recessed and slightly harshy at times.

H

Highs & Treble

The highs of the INGPING H60 are darkish with some brightness and a mild degree of detail. Piercing highs and sibilance are not present. Overall they have smooth and pleasant highs but audiophiles will find them lacking brightness and detail according to their high standards, normal listeners and treble sensitive people will probably be happy with them. Utilizing an EQ there is still no sibilance nor piercing highs while they take great advantage of the EQ gaining a lot more of detail and enough extra brightness to make them much more open and spacious.

Sound Leak

The sound that leaks out of these earphones is a tiny bit below most average earphones, being partially hearable in some less noisy situations but will perfectly blend with ambient sounds in normally noisy places.

SI

Sound Isolation

The INPING H60 do an excellent work isolating from surrounding noises with no need of applying high and dangerous volume levels. If turning up the volume above a moderate degree they will be capable of offering absolute isolation too.

C

Comfort

The super tiny and extremely light weight of the housings with the rotated dynamic drivers make the Takstar INGPING H60 a true pleasure to be used, with excellent fit too and if pushed further they can even sit flush with the ears so they can be used while resting your head on your hand. Their spectacular comfort offers pain free extensive hours of use without any worries.

EQ

Response to Equalization

The Takstar INGPING H60 showed an outstanding response to custom EQ with insane increase of their mid-bass and sub-bass; a very noticeably reduction of recession of their lower mids and an outstanding addition of highs frequencies brightness and detail with much spacious highs.
