Bass & Sub Bass

The 1MORE Crystal Piston In-Ear Headphones bass is rich and punchy with energetic mid-bass and deep enough sub-bass. The bass coming from these earphones will provide as much energy and fun as needed for any music genre but there are bassier earphones out there.

Applying an EQ, they gain a substantial amount of depth and some extra punch too but things will get a bit boomy.

During our extreme bass tests the 1MORE Crystal Piston In-Ear Headphones handled 40% of a Fiio E12 Mont Blanc (high gain, bass boost on, basshead EQ) becoming highly punchy and crazy deep reaching even a mild basshead rumble and impact but still not being able to reach the baseline basshead impact of the KZ ATE and nowhere near the Xiaomi Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro, SONY MDR-EX650, KZ ZST, Senfer 4in1, KZ ZSR or SONY MDR-XB50.

Mids & Vocals

The 1MORE Crystal Piston In-Ear Headphones mids are warm and smooth but lower vocals could sound somewhat distant depending on the track and your SQ expectations; higher mids are less rolled-off than lower mids providing enough crispness.

With an EQ, their lower vocals sound much more alive and less congested, higher mids will still do not get too harsh.

Response to Equalization

The response to the EQs applied during our tests was quite efficient making them gain a substantial amount of brightness without introducing stronger piercing highs, mids benefited from much clearer lower vocals with more energy and less distant sound, bass became much deeper and punchy but also bit boomy.
