? We have finished reviewing the CoGoo!! T02, a tiny earphone with the exact same housings of the Takstar INGPING H60 but with a retail price way lower. We will see after our review if they perform as the INGPING H60 or if they offer a different sound signature. In case that you were wondering, the model is T02 and the name of the brand is CoGoo!! (we are not emphasizing the brand’s name with the exclamation marks, the name of the brand includes two “!!”) The CoGoo!! T02 might not get much attention nowadays but they had their moment of hype some time ago making quite a fuss. As we just noted, the CoGoo!! T02 share the exact same housings of the INPING H60 either in shape and in size. This design is something that we find very comfortable due to their reduced size and great ergonomics that allows them to be worn straight as normal earphones or with the cable going above and around the ears; the writings on the housings suggest them to be used with the latter fitting style. The cables are rounded and rubberized offering some anti-tangling capabilities; the plug is 3.5mm and has a 45 degree angle (only the black model) which some people highly appreciate. Accessories & Packaging

The CoGoo!! T02 unboxing results in 2 extra pair of eartips, a pair of cable guides (something that, for example, is also supplied with the KZ ATE); everything comes inside a basic small rectangular cardboard packaging. It is worth noting that many sellers ship them without any packaging.

Bass & Sub Bass

The CoGoo!! T02 offer bass with a conservative style with some mid-bass but not too much sub-bass. Their conservative bass personality is still not exaggerated as to feel lacking strength, in fact, their punch and depth can be enough for less bass-heavy music. Applying an EQ, their mid-bass becomes a bit punchier and sub-bass still lacks depth. During our extreme bass tests the CoGoo!! T02 were able to handle 50% of the maximum power of a Fiio E12 Mont Blanc while being set to high gain and with it’s bass boost turned on (custom basshead EQ applied). The extreme amplification and equalization made the CoGoo!! T02 gain an absolute makeover in bass response with energy, punch and respectable deep sub-bass but still do not expect any type of basshead rumble or impact coming from them. No extra tests are needed to understand that the Takstar INGPING H60 and the CoGoo!! T02 do not sound anywhere similar, as the first showed a greatly energetic and deep bass response during our review.

Mids & Vocals

The CoGoo!! T02 has lower mids that lack energy and lower vocals that sound somewhat laid back, higher mids are better reproduced, less recessed and still not harsh. With an EQ lower mids sound much less recessed but vocals are borderline of getting boxy, also higher mids get harshy.

Highs & Treble

The highs of the CoGoo!! T02 are not too bright and are able to resolve a small amount of detail. Piercing and sibilant highs do not show up. An EQ makes their highs sound much more open and brighter, also some extra detail is gained; sibilance still is not perceived but a tiny bit of piercing highs can arise.

Sound Leak

The sound that leaks out of these earphones is on par with most average earphones, meaning that the sound that leaks out of them is perceivable by nearby people if a high volume is set but in normally busy city situations they will blend with environmental noises.

Sound Isolation

Noise isolation is very effective even while listening music at a moderate low volume the noises surrounding you will get highly reduced.

Comfort

Sharing the same exact housings of the Takstar INGPING H60 they also share the exact same level of superior comfort and fit. The ultra small housings are a pleasure to wear and at the same time with their ultra narrow profile offer a flush fit that allowed them to enter our Best In-Ear Headphones for Helmets Chart. Pain or discomfort do not are part of the vocabulary of the CoGoo!! T02.

Response to Equalization

The CoGoo!! T02 showed some improvement with our custom EQs on some audio frequencies but also was ineffective on others. Mid-bass gained a small amount of punch but sub-bass did not get any extra depth; lower mids cleared up but also higher mids became a bit harsh; highs obtained added brightness and detail with only a tiny piercing highs presence.

Conclusion

The Cogoo!! T02 offer the same ergonomics and highly comfortable fit of the Takstar INGPING H60 at a cheaper price. Despite their similarities they are certainly not the same earphone re-branded as their sound signature is far from similar.
The Cogoo!! T02 can be recommended to people looking for an ultra comfortable earphone and specially to whom is looking for an under-helmet earphone but that is not looking for thumping bass or the best SQ that money can buy.
