DZAT DF-10
| 6.8 mm Driver |
🎧 DZAT DF-10, a premium looking wooden earphone at an affordable price. DZAT is a Chinese manufacturer that despite not having the largest earphones catalog they have the tendency of creating very original designs and offering an overall solid construction that results in a premium feel but that remain budget friendly, as we have seen in our review of the DZAT DT-05.
The housings of the DZAT-DF10 are made of wood which is a very good start as wood is one of the most used construction materials for instruments due to their good acoustics. In the past we have reviewed several wooden earphones, except rare exceptions, they were all very good in the sound quality department (see the House of Marley Smile Jamaica – Review or the GeekRover iEPW090 – Review for example). The housings are solid and lightweight; there is “DZAT” engraved on the top of the housings and a golden metal grid on the rear section of the earpieces.
The cables are half braided / half rubberized (similar to the 1MORE Piston Classic In-Ear Headphones or the Xiaomi Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro) both sections are thick and feel durable. There is an inline microphone with a 1-button control that will allow you to play/pause music, skip songs and answer/reject calls.
The cable bifurcation piece, inline mic/control and stereo plug section are constructed in metal and have a burgundish color (the DZAT DF-10 Red Ebony wood model).
While looking for the DZAT DF-10 you might encounter it under the name Flymemo DZAT DF-10, Yinyoo DZAT DF-10 or OKCSC DZAT DF-10; do not worry they are all the same earphones.
You can buy the DZAT DF-10 in:
- DZAT DF-10 Red Ebony wood (dark wood)
- DZAT DF-10 Maple Shiraki wood (clear wood).

B
Bass & Sub Bass
The DZAT DF-10 have a highly punchy and strong mid-bass with very deep sub-bass right out of the box despite their smaller than average 6.8 mm dynamic driver. Their bass is very fun and energetic and will never fall short, they can fulfill any music genre bass requirement with no single issue. People enjoying strong and rich bass in their music sessions will be very happy with the DZAT DF-10.
After an EQ, punch and depth is noticeably increased without getting boomy.
Under our extreme bass tests, the DZAT DF-10 were able to handle up to 47% of a Fiio E12 maximum power while setting it to high gain, turning it’s bass boost on and applying a custom basshead EQ. The results were an insane exponential increase of mid-bass and sub-bass reaching basshead rumble and impact above the KZ ATE, Elecom EHP-CA3580 and below the Xiaomi Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro.
