Design
As soon as you get the ACEMAGIC V1 Intel N150 MiniPC in your hands you will be amazed of how small this PC is. As a matter of fact, it is so small that it could be called a MicroPC instead of a MiniPC.
As a real-life comparison and reference, you can see it in our photos sitting aside a MiniPC and you can immediately see the massive difference in size between them – the specific dimension of the ACEMAGIC V1 is 3.9×3.9×1.3 inch
Another first-impact that users will have with the ACEMAGIC V1, is the massive resemblance to a Apple Mac Mini, seeing in the form-factor, footprint and even space grey-silver finish of the PC.
Looking at the front face of the case, you will find 2 USB connections, an audio jack and a small rounded power button sitting next to an even smaller LED light that works as a power and status indicator.
The right and left faces of the case have 3 large grids per side that correspond to the direct access to the fans intake/outtake for air flow and thermal control.
The rear of the machine holds the rest of the I/O ports and the power connection while the bottom of the machine has another large grid/opening for the fans.
On the bottom, you will also see the threads for the screws of to use the VESA support addon and 4 silicone styled dot feet that offer an excellent level of grip and anti-slip capabilities, regardless of the material of your desk.

Construction & Build
Despite the compact size, the ACEMAGIC V1 has a newer CPU than the NiPoGi GK3Plus while preserving similar insanely cheap price (sometimes even found at lower price than the Kamrui and NiPoGi N97 CPU models)
The plastic material used for the external case of the ACEMAGIC V1 does not only look smooth but it also feels way better than the plastic seen on other MiniPC; we could even say that some consumers might think that it is made of metal but it is not.

Connectivity
This mini ACEMAGIC PC comes equipped with 8 input/output ports distributed between the front and back face of the case.
The specific ports included are:
• 2x USB 3.2
• 2x USB 2.0
• 1x HDMI 2.0
• 1x DisplayPort 1.4
• 1x Ethernet RJ45
• 1x 3.5mm stereo output
It is quite respectable the amount of ports and connectors that the brand was able to fit in such a tiny PC, even including DisplayPort and HDMI variants, 4x USB-A of which 2 are USB 3, 1x 3.5mm stereo audio output and a 1 Gb RJ45 ethernet port. Of course, being a low-consumption PC, there is no full-fledged USB-C connector.
Theoretically, the ACEMAGIC V1 could support triple-monitor output but as it includes 2 ports for video, you will be able to reach dual-output at most.
Internally, the computer includes a wireless module that includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection coverage with support for dual-band 2.4G and 5G wireless Wi-Fi.

UP
Upgradeability
The ACEMAGIC V1 Intel N150 MiniPC can be upgraded through the removable disk and RAM.
To access the internals of the PC you might need to workout a bit more to go through the disassembly of the ACEMAGIC V1 than on other MiniPC out there, but it is doable.
Do notice that the model supports only a single RAM module and a single SSD disk.
3.5/5
Per
Performance
The ACEMAGIC V1 Intel N150 MiniPC presents net upgraded results when comparing the installed Intel N150 vs Intel N100 providing a 0.1GHz base clock speed improvement and 0.2GHz CPU clock boost, matching the max. boost clock of the N97 while conserving the same low TDP of 6W of the N100 and not as high as 12W of the N97 and N95.
Another significant improvement of the Intel N150 vs Intel N100 is a beefier GPU clock reaching now up to 1GHz (0.75GHz was the max. GPU clock for the N100)
Users looking to cover average everyday tasks, office work, web navigation, audio/4K video playing or to use it either as a multimedia center, home server or TV box replacement, will have their needs fully covered by this very affordable, tiny PC.
Of course, this is not the most adequate choice if your intention is AAA gaming or 1080+ modern gaming and/or more intensive jobs like video and photo editing, 3D software, etc.
Nonetheless, light photo editing for web graphics and photographs or use of slicing 3D printer software and laser engravers software use are feasible within some limitations. We were even able to use the PC without issues for retro-gaming, some legacy or low-demanding PC games and for emulators.
DISK
If you open the case of the machine and look at the included SSD disk and interface you might think that this is an NVME disk but it is not, the interface, disk and connection of the ACEMAGIC V1 is of SATA SSD.
Specifically, the 512GB disk is of M.2 2280 SSD 6Gbps type and not the speedier NVME, yet with our measured max. speeds above 560MB/s, the performance is more than good and will not be the bottleneck of the machine.
NOISE
The single axial fan controlling the thermals of the machine is so silent that even while running you will not hear it if there is some noise in your work space environment.
In fact, the PC is extremely silent with fans barely audible while kicking in, as the PC is highly efficient in the cooling and thermal control design, also helped by the low consumption Intel N150 CPU.
We find very important to highlight that this is not a fanless PC, so if you see that your unit is getting scorching hot and you still do not sense any fans spinning, you might have to open the machine and check if the fans are working as they should – in our case, the fans were out of place and could not spin as their out-of-place placement blocked the fan with the bottom internal section of the case. If you are careful and have some DIY experience, you might be able to solve the issue and recover the machine to its original state and fully operational fans.
OFFICE, WEB BROWSING and MEDIA
Office, web and general media tasks are jobs that the ACEMAGIC V1 is remarkably good to fulfill while keeping low the electricity bill.
Mainstream office software such as Microsoft Office 2021 and Microsoft Office 2024 with Word, Excel or Powerpoint, showed smooth and lag-free performance.
With any modern web browser, the ACEMAGIC was as smooth as with Microsoft Office being able to navigate and handle every single website or online video in 4K.
We even tested the PC with Mozilla Firefox and 70 open tabs and the ACEMAGIC V1 had no significant issue keeping up with the ludicrous amount of tabs.
GAMING
The ACEMAGIC V1 was not designed to be a gaming PC and, in fact, it is not. Do not expect any coverage for AAA 4K gaming with this MiniPC – as it is obviously reasonable by the CPU, GPU used.
Nonetheless, the integrated Intel GPU with shared memory was able to drive emulators, retro games and some particularly light modern games.
WiFi, Bluetooth
Connecting to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks was conflict-free without having to struggle nor combat with hiccups nor unexpected disconnections while also not seeing transfer speed loss over the wireless connection – the same stable connection style was seeing on Bluetooth connections.

Tech
When tested side by side with the NiPoGi GK3Plus MiniPC / KAMRUI GK3Plus vs ACEMAGIC V1, both presented similar performance, speed and capability of tasks and job to cover with no drastic difference on one over the other.
If you look at a model that costs usually twice the price of the ACEMAGIC, like KAMRUI AM06PRO / NiPoGi AM06PRO; the AM06PRO will present a noticeable larger margin in specs and performance to cover more intensive tasks.
All tests were done, running Windows 11 Pro in 4K 60Hz.
• Full Boot Time: 3 to 4 seconds or less
• Programs opening: less than 1 second or instant (includes Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Windows Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox)

Pow
Power Consumption
Speaking about energy efficiency, the ACEMAGIC V1 is outstandingly proficient in this department due to the low TDP of the Intel CPU used. As a matter of fact, this new generation of Intel CPU has a ridiculously low TDP of barely 6W.
The PC comes packed with a PSU with max. output of 30W in order to cover the needs of the computer and any peripherals without risking of falling short of power.
