Battery Life

The Diggro X3 / Microwear X3 is equipped with a 120 mAh lithium ion polymer battery that the brand says to provide 40 days of standby time and 3 days of use.

To be honest, our unit has way surpassed the 3 days of usage, we have been using it exclusively for the last 5 days (under normal use and turning off Bluetooth while sleeping) and the battery indicator is at 1-step below 50% charge – if this charge tendency carries on, we would be in front of approximately 10 days per charge.

Charging: To charge the Diggro X3 / Microwear X3 you will need to place the charging cable pins on the + and – connectors on the back of the unit – the unit should fully charge in 60 minutes.

The Diggro X3 / Microwear X3 is a rugged smartband with no cheap pieces nor plasticky sections. The straps are fully made of stainless steel while the main unit is mainly built in metal.

The front of the screen is made of glass and not plastic (like the Xiaomi Mi Band 3).

The Diggro X3 / Microwear X3 has a multi-colored TFT screen with a diagonal size of 0.96 inches. The screen has a resolution of 80×160 pixels, which results in 186.34 DPI – this is more DPI than a 27” 4K monitor has.

Having a high DPI and a fairly large screen, the Diggro X3 / Microwear X3 can fit up to 89 characters per screen – which is almost 2 times more the amount of characters that the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 can display per screen.

Despite being a TFT screen instead of an OLED (like the Xiaomi Mi Band 3), the screen has excellent viewing angles and almost does not “negativizes” colors.

Moreover, the screen has 4 brightness settings that can be manually selected. The brightest setting is way brighter than the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 and DT NO1 F13 screen – even the 3rd setting is much brighter. This bright screen allows it to be more easily readable under strong lighting conditions and acceptably under direct sunlight (shading it with your hand is recommended for an easier reading)

The Diggro X3 / Microwear X3 has a 2-pin connection on the back of the unit – this is the charging connector.

To charge the unit you need to perfectly align the proprietary cable’s pins with the charging connectors. The cable does not fit tightly and can be easily get out of place (consequently not charging).
