We are reviewing the DTNO.1 DT ULTRA 10, the latest affordable but high-class looking watch from DT NO.1.
The brand has been able to release a brand new model with the DT NO.1 DT ULTRA 10 with new and improved specs and features, yet conserving the absurdly affordable price.
The DT NO.1 DT Ultra 10 comes inside a hard carboard packaging that includes inside:
• 1x strap
• 1x Charging dock

Design
Coming in classy metallic colors such a silver, black or golden, the DT NO.1 DT ULTRA 10 looks refined and much more expensive than its MSRP.
The form factor and style is the same and nearly identical to the one of the DT NO.1 ULTRA 3, ULTRA 3 PRO; which means that these are part of the “Apple watch inspired” models from the DT NO.1
In total, the DT NO.1 DT ULTRA 10 has 2 buttons and wheel that has also a button-press function; one of the buttons is slightly recessed and sitting on the left edge of the shell (orange colored) while the other 2 sits on the right edge of the watch.
The overall look of the watch feels clean and polished with an unibody design and a large top display with minimal bezels.
On the bottom, the watch holds all the health-related sensors and the charging pins.

Operation & Control
The use and control of the ULTRA 10 is as intuitive as any modern smartphone or tablet, centered over the large touch sensitive display and complemented by the use of the 3 physical buttons and rotating wheel.
The left orange buttons serves to quick access the sports functions, while the 2 buttons on the right allow the selection of functions, settings and navigation.
The rotational encoder can be used to navigate through the main app/settings menus of the UI or to access quick functions like the on-the-fly switch of watch dials.
In comparison to early models from the brand, the DT NO.1 DT ULTRA 10 has a superb feel of the wheel without any scratching nor springy feel to it, while responding with tactile feedback from the internal rumble motor of the watch.

Battery Life
Battery life of the DT NO.1 ULTRA 10 is well-usable without being a draining mess that would need to be charged each day.
In fact, throughout the tests for this review, the unit lasted over 1 week of daily use without needing to be recharged (turned off at night time)
The DT NO.1 DT Ultra 10 does not only have premium aesthetics but it also is incomprehensibly excellently built, considering an asking price that is well below $50.
The main body and case of the watch is made of a rugged metal while the display is protected by a scratch-resistant, tempered glass. The buttons and wheel are equally as well built with no wobbly nor flimsy feel to them.
Moreover, the construction quality also extends to the free wristband included with the unit, which is made of comfortable silicone and no cheap rubber.
Internally, the DT NO.1 DT ULTRA 10 offers dual chips (ATS3085S) and 4GB of internal storage for any standalone use and uploading of music, photos or videos.

S
Screen
The ULTRA 10 is embellished by a large 2.1″ display screen with a resolution of 385×320.
Apart from the formal tech specs of the display, in real-life, the screen looks phenomenally appealing with crisp and sharp details, popping colors with excellent saturation and contrast, no visible pixelation and easy to read fonts regardless of their style and size.
Unlike with other DT No1. watches that we reviewed in the past, we noticed that this model had less variety of watch dials available to download – this might change in the future.
The ULTRA 10 is certainly heavier than some entry-level models and some older siblings but the ergonomic form factor and excellent wristband result in a very comfortable and fatigue free fit.
It worth mentioning that the securing end of the wristband is fixed and cannot be adjusted, so if you have wide/large wrists and use any of the last 3 holes of the wristband, the securing end will not be reached.

PER
Performance
From the physical buttons to the touch screen, the watch felt responsive and without any nerve-wrecking noticeable lag that could impede a smooth use of the watch and navigation of its UI, menu and settings.
The only moments that we noticed some hiccups and slowness was when using more complex and hungry features like ChatGPT or part of the “rich” network apps from the market.
The rest of the watch functions and features were smooth and always fast to interact with, including all sports tracking, built-in native apps (calculator, notifications, calling, timer, alarms, calendar, weather, photo, etc.)
Also, before some OTA upgrades we encountered some connectivity issues related with the Network Sharing function which sometimes ended with an error; this is needed to use the Whatsapp reply on watch features and others like ChatGPT, Facebook, Translator, Maps, etc.
Moreover, tilt-to-wake features and standalone use of phone calling, Bluetooth audio, TWS audio, music and video playback worked as intended.
As pointed out in many of other reviewed watches from the brand, the ULTRA 10 still presents some overly boosted sounds that we do not necessarily love (like the full-charge sound) and we do miss the function to reprogram the orange button and also to enable sound notifications for app notifications.
