The DT NO.1 F13 Smartwatch unboxing results in a proprietary magnetic charging cable and an user manual. Everything comes inside a well built box with the watch inside a protecting foam.

Design

The DT NO.1 F13 Smartwatch has a masculine design with a sports and heavy duty looks.

Design and aesthetics reminded us to the classic almighty Casio G-Shock family.

On the bottom of the watch you can find the heart rate sensor – the heart/pulse sensor comes with a plastic transparent sticker that has to be removed, this comes placed to protect it from scratching but it is meant to be removed once bought.

The wristband is made of TPU with a nice rubberized construction and rugged sports build that matches the general looks of the unit. The wrist strap can be adjusted in 9 steps and can be replaced with standard wrist straps.

Operation & Control

The DT NO.1 F13 Smartwatch has 4 dedicated buttons plus the bottom of the screen which is touch enabled.

  • Left sided buttons: on the left of the watch you can find 2 buttons, the one on top is used to navigate through the menus in the up direction and the one on the bottom to navigate down
  • Right sided buttons: the upper button acts as “enter” and “confirm” and the bottom one is used as “back” and if hold down can be used to turn off/on the unit
  • Touch screen: on the bottom of the screen you will see 3 parallel lines, this is to let you know that this area is touch enabled and can be used to navigate the menus

Battery Life

The DT NO.1 F13 Smartwatch hold inside a hefty 350 mAh battery that ensures 25 days of battery life on a single charge. As a reference the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 reaches 20 days on a single charge.

Charging: To charge the DT NO.1 F13 Smartwatch you have to use the included charging cable and connect the back of the watch to it – it will attach magnetically and as a security measure the polarity of the magnets will not allow you to plug in the wrong direction.

The DT NO.1 F13 Smartwatch is a very rugged smartwatch thought to be beaten up and withhold heavy demanding sports activities without failing nor breaking apart.  The watch glass is protected by the frame that protrudes further above the glass.

The DT NO.1 F13 Smartwatch has an IP68 waterproof rating that grants underwater use up to 50m and a dustproof enclosure.

The DT NO.1 F13 Smartwatch becomes extremely more useful when used paired with a smartphone as advanced features are unleashed. Some of the DT NO.1 features are:

  • Call notifications:  Incoming call and SMS with vibration and sound, screen turns on informing number of caller and name (name will appear if you have it in your contacts). Additionally, it supports incorporating other third-party apps for push messages (settings in the app)

The DT NO.1 F13 Smartwatch has a 1” TFT screen. Differently to the Xiaomi Mi Band 3, the NO.I F13 has a color screen.

The bigger screen reaches up to 70 characters displayed per screen, which is 45% more characters than the Xiaomi Mi Band 3.

The technology of it’s screen is not OLED but TFT so you will struggle to see it under direct sunlight.
