Epomaker Click Mouse

 | Gaming Mouse | 8000Hz Polling Rate | Micro-Switches | Wired/Wireless |

Epomaker Click Mouse, the very first Epomaker gaming mouse.

Epomaker has an endless amount of keyboards and we have reviewed most of them; but the brand did not offer any self-branded mouse so far.

In fact, the Epomaker Click Mouse, joins their catalog as their first gaming mouse but with some interesting specs to call the attention of gamers.

Seeing the value for money that Epomaker keyboards offer, we hope that the brand will keep manufacturing further, innovative mice.

ACCESSORIES & PACKAGING
gramophone-256604.25/5

The Epomaker Click Mouse comes inside a rugged packaging that includes:

• Grip tapes
• Braided cable
• Dongle

D

DESIGN
gramophone-256604.5/5

The Epomaker Click Mouse is an ergo-styled gaming mouse with an ergonomic-optimized (as the word suggests) form factor to adapt to any hands size.

We found the all-white shell with black accents to look clean and stylish and not falling into a taste-less, dull design; nonetheless, if you want to decor it, you can apply the included tapes.

Talking about these tapes, they offer an outstanding grippy, slippery-free reinforcement if the bare textured finish of the plastics used for the shell are not enough for you.

Fair to highlight though, that the ink used for the designs in the addon grip tapes dissolved and starting creating a mess as soon as we starting using them.

In comparison with other gaming mice that we reviewed, the Epomaker has a nice lighting effect that can be seen through the gaps of the clickers and also used as a dedicated, small status LED light indicator on the top shell.

In total, the Epomaker Click Mouse has 9 buttons: 5 on the top case, 2 on the side and 2 on the bottom.

On the bottom, the case holds 3 skates, a mode switch for the connectivity modes, a wireless bank button switcher and a polling rate button.

The Epomaker Click Mouse is available in 2 different colors:

• Epomaker Click Mouse Black
• Epomaker Click Mouse white

CONSTRUCTION & BUILD
gramophone-256604.5/5

Epomaker decided to enter the gaming mice market with high-performing components like:

• PAW3950 sensor
• PAN1080 MCU
• Omron micro-switches

Due to the plastic build use for the shell, the Epomaker Click Mouse is light weighted barely above 58 grams, yet feels rugged enough.

Moreover, the build and assembly seems to have been taken care with attention to detail as none of the clickers nor buttons wobbled and rattling, flex and screaking of the mouse body were absent.

SW

SWITCHES
gramophone-25660
4.5/5

In order to keep up with gamers needs, the Epomaker Click Mouse uses Omron D2LS micro-switches but the encoder used is not disclosed by the brand.

The micro-switches exhibited gratifying audible and tactile feedback, as well as all other buttons.

The main clickers and side buttons responded fast with a barely minimal amount of pre-travel.

Similarly, the scroll wheel was responsive and precise with the right amount of resistance and giving tactile feedback per notch but with a much more silent clicky noise.

CON

CONNECTIVITY
gramophone-256605/5

The Epomaker Click Mouse offers wired and wireless connections that includes either Bluetooth wireless or 2.4G wireless tech.

In order to use the 2.4G capabilities you need to pair the included 2.4 dongle, while Bluetooth provides 2 independent banks to pair with different devices.

Wired, the mouse uses a detachable USB-C connection – also used to charge the internal battery of the mouse.

U

USE

GAMING
gramophone-256605/5

There are no doubts that the Epomaker Click Mouse was born as a gaming mouse to crash the competitors in the budget-friendly price range.

Features and specs that are lead the board in this gaming mouse are:

• 8000Hz polling rate
• Wired, 2.4G wireless and BT
• Less than 60g of weight
• Responsive skates
• Side buttons
• Reliable connectivity
• LOD adjustment
• Reprogramming capabilities

PRODUCTIVITY
gramophone-256604.25/5

Being a mouse that can be paired with up to 4 devices and benefit from wired and wireless connections, plus the additional side buttons make it a competent mouse for daily use and productivity.

TABLET/MOBILE
gramophone-25660
4.25/5

A compact and light weighted core and a Bluetooth enabled connectivity can add up to make the Epomaker Click Mouse a smart companion for tablet and mobile phones.

S

SOUND
gramophone-256604.25/5

We liked the less flashy sound of the main clickers, being less CLIIICKY than most other gaming mice but still offering a clear audible feedback.

In order of loudness and pitch, the bottom buttons are the are the quietest of all the buttons then followed by the main clickers and finally with a much louder and higher pitched noise hearable on the side buttons, 2 DPI buttons and button function of the scroll wheel.

If we had to be picky, we could say that the weaker element in the sound department is the noise of the encoder when rotated forward.

P

PERFORMANCE
gramophone-256605/5

If you compare the Epomaker Click Mouse with ultra-popular gaming mice like the Logitech G502, the Epomaker feels like a warrior jet while the Logitech responds as a dated brick with a chunky, sluggishly heavy nature.

Without any further purchase needed, the Epomaker Click Mouse unleashes top-tier polling rates that can reach 8000Hz (not in BT mode), 42K DPI sensitivity, 50g acceleration and 750 IPS.

In real life, all of these combined into a superiorly lightning fast response and lag-free performance that can make the difference when facing competitive online gaming sessions.

When testing the main clickers we were glad to find that they were extremely easy to handle for insane spam clicking with no single missed input.

On top of that, the default skates allowed accurate but instant tracking and control of friction.

It is also nice seeing that the Epomaker Click Mouse has the same compact and light ergo design but offers more buttons than competitors like the 2 dedicated DPI up and DPI down buttons placed on the top shell section for quick DPI setting and with the potential of reprogramming them into any desired function/macro.

B

BATTERY
gramophone-256604.5/5

An internal battery with a capacity of 500mAh powers the Epomaker Click Mouse in wireless modes, being nearly twice more powerful than on other gaming mice reviewed so far; thus possibly granting significantly longer runtimes before needing to be recharged.
