The FINOW X7 is a watch with a full Android 7.1 customized OS.

Inside the rounded body you can find 16GB of ROM, 1GB of RAM LPDDR3 memory and a quad-core CPU (MTK6739)

The MTK6739 has a Cortex-A53 CPU design and is clocked at a maximum 1.25GHz.

With a more modest RAM than the KOSPET HOPE, the FINOW X3 is inline with most of the latest smartwatch phones such as LEMFO, Alfawise, Zeblaze THOR, Kingwear KC06 – the KOSPET HOPE is above the normal specs of actual smartwatch phones.

The FINOW X7 SmartWatch Phone unboxing results in a screen protective film, a screw driver, a USB cable and a charging dock/cradle.

Everything is packed inside a white colored, square box with a minimalist design and clean aesthetics.

The FINOW X7 has a rounded watch front bezel and design with a diameter of 49mm.

The aesthetics are classy and clean with an harmonizing dark color from the main watch section up to the straps – if you buy the black version.

The front element of the watch is a tempered glass that can resist scratches and drops without shattering.

The bottom of the watch has a 4-pin charging connection, the heart rate sensor and 4 screws that need to be unscrewed to access the SIM card slot.

The included wristband is a a 2-piece strap with a genuine Italian leather front a silicone base – the included strap measures 135mm + 94mm.

The FINOW X7 SmartWatch Phone has 2 physical buttons and a touch-enabled screen.

The touch screen is compatible with the most common gestures such as:

• Swipe up/down
• Swipe left= confirm
• Swipe right= go back
• Swipe down= quick access settings
• Swipe up= health stats, steps, km, Kcal
• Upper button= turn on or off the screen
• Press and hold the upper button= turn on or off the device
• Lower button= go back

The UI of the FINOW X7 is usually fluid and does not tend to hiccup too much but if you want the most fluid and smooth experience you can check out this smartwatch.

The FINOW X7, also, offer an “always time” watch function and a “raise hand turn on screen” option. Both these features are useful to check the time and notifications without having to press any buttons.

The FINOW X7 has a super rugged construction with stainless steel used as the main build material, even the bottom is built with this material quality.

This build surpasses the average quality of most smartwatch phone; of course, this will come with a heftier weight than other competitors.

The 2 buttons placed on the edge of the body are also made of metal and have no wobbly nor flimsy feel.

The FINOW X7 SmartWatch Phone front element has a diameter of 49mm and an AMOLED screen.

This is a 1.39” screen with a resolution of 400×400 pixels. As the technology used for the screen is AMOLED, the FINOW X7 provides excellent viewing angles, outstanding color saturation and definition.

The FINOW X7 offers remarkable brightness, strong and able to compete with most daily light situations – in fact, this is the brightest screen that we have tested on any smartwatch (clearly showing higher brightness levels than the KOSPET HOPE).

Moreover, looking at the screen of both models side to side, the FINOW X7 appears to have a sharper screen with better defined fine detail, making the text sharper and clearer.

Comfort

With such an industrial construction and full stainless steel main body, the FINOW X7 weights 101gr. which makes it a heavier watch than the KOSPET HOPE.

Nonetheless, the FINOW X7 is very comfortable and is also able to remain thinner than the KOSPET HOPE thanks to the slimmer profile.

In addition to this, the hybrid wristband provides the excellent comfort of silicone in contact with the skin but adds the fancy and elegant genuine leather finish on top, combining comfort + style.

App

The FINOW X7 SmartWatch Phone be either used as a smart device like a smartband communicating and pairing with a smartphone or as a standalone fully fledged smartphone with it’s own SIM card, LTE/4G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity.

If users want to receive notifications from a separate smartphone it will be needed to pair the FINOW X7 with the smartphone through a Bluetooth connection and the WiiWatch2 App (same app used by many modern budget smartphone watches)

On the right edge of the watch there is a “circle” with a lens, this is the photo and video camera of the FINOW X7 – the lens is right in between both physical buttons.

The sensor of the camera has a resolution of 2 Megapixels and can also record video and audio.

Speaker

The FINOW X7 has a speaker on the bottom front of the watch allowing to do phone calls, watch online videos with audio, get navigation directions or listen to music.

This speaker is so loud that can be used for music listening and ensures efficient sound alerts – as a reference, the FINOW X7 has also the loudest speaker of any smartwatch that we have tested.

Phone calls, on-the-go music listening, videos watching, GPS navigation, voice commands can be covered with the built-in speaker.

Firmware

The firmware of the FINOW X7 can be updated either through the WiiWatch 2 App or through the smartwatch by going to Settings>>About watch>>Wireless Update.
