? LEZII X12, a truly wireless semi in-ear headphone.
The LEZII X12 features 14 mm dynamic drivers, a truly wireless Bluetooth design/connection and a custom earphone form factor. An additional feature of the X12 include a mono or stereo use – you can use it as a mono headset for taking calls or as music listening stereo headphone.
The housings of the LEZII X12 are fully constructed in plastic but their durability feels solid enough. The rear plate of each earpiece holds a multifunction button that can be used to turn on, pair and operate the units.
The LEZII X12 offers 1.5 hours of music playtime and can reach up to 7.5 hours of use thanks to their battery case that gives them 4 extra full charges – the battery pack is nicely built with a solid feel to it. The case has a top opening cover with a magnetic closure system.

LED Status Light: Each earpiece of the LEZII X12 have a LED light that informs you independently the status of each unit. Alternating red/blue: pairing mode, Blinking Blue: On, Brief Red: Power off. The battery / charging case also has it’s own LED light to let you know the status of the case and it’s battery.
Charging: To charge the LEZII X12 you need to place the earpieces in the charging case / battery case; they will attach magnetically to the charging contacts and their LED will turn on red to confirm that they are placed correctly and are charging. A full charge of the earpieces takes 1 hours.
Note on pairing: We found the pairing process to be a bit more complex than the QCY Q29 PRO. We advice to follow the manual instructions carefully to pair it correctly, if you do not achieve a stereo pairing of both units you will be hearing the sound only from one earpiece. If this happens, do not worry the units are not faulty, it is just that you paired them in mono headset mode.

Accessories & Packaging
The LEZII X12 unboxing results in a soft carrying pouch, a charging cable and the battery case / hard case – the soft pouch has a very nice fabric that resembles the one of the Xiaomi Mi Pro HD.
Everything is packed inside a rectangular box with the same size of the Siroflo BH-01 packaging but much more solidly built.
Bass & Sub Bass
The LEZII X12 bass is bouncy with strong punch and profound depth, for an earbud. Their bass is tuned for fun sound and they provide it quite well with their energetic mid-bass and good enough sub-bass (if you expect in-ear headphone sub-bass depth, you will feel them shallow). They are certainly not a conservative or shy bass sounding earbud.
Applying an EQ, punch gets empowered, sub-bass becomes slightly deeper.

Mids & Vocals
The LEZII X12 have very warm mids, mid-bass bleed is present but not too strongly invasive, still lower vocals could sound a bit distant at times. Higher mids are smooth, with a medium recession that makes them non-harsh sounding.
With an EQ, lower vocals remove their laid back sound and sound much more alive, higher mids can get a bit crispier too.
Highs & Treble
The LEZII X12 highs offer enough brightness and detail for normal listening, they do not suffer from piercing peaks but mild sibilance can arise.
An EQ opens up their highs, sound gets noticeably brighter and reveal much more detail, piercing peaks do not show up but sibilance will get frequently perceived.
The sound leaking out of the LEZII X12 is fairly contained with a leaking level inline with most average earphones. You can wear them safely in normally noisy cities without worrying about disturbing nearby people.

Earbuds do not excel at sound isolation, the LEZII X12 have a semi-earbud design and, consequently, do not offer the strongest isolation that your money can buy.
This is something that you might want, anyway. For example, if you need to have some awareness of your surroundings, a less isolating earphone is what you should be looking for.

Earbuds are less popular than in-ear headphones and one of the reasons is their fit. Earbuds provide a less secure and looser fit than an earphone and this is something that some people do not love. Their less tight fit has a positive aspect, though; by not having nozzles that get inside your ears, their fit is less invasive and more comfortable (to some people).
If you know what to expect from an earbud or have ever used one, the LEZII X12 will provide a very comfortable fit for long listening sessions and a slightly more secure one than normal earbuds.

Response to Equalization
The response to EQ of the LEZII X12 was noticeably efficient, providing substantial improvement of their sound quality in the mids/vocals region and in their highs brightness.
