The Magaosi BK50 has a phenomenal cable, among the best stock cables – the connector is MMCX. The Yinyoo 6-Core cable is more inline in thickness with the Magaosi cable.

All details of the cable are made of metal, the 3.5mm plug section is very well built (also in metal) and carries an attractive carbon-fiber pattern.

The Magaosi BK50 unboxing results in an excellent case (leather like), the MMCX detachable cable, a jack cap, 3 pair of foam tip, 2 pair of silicone tips.

Bass & Sub Bass

The Magaosi BK50 has a full sounding bass with good punch and deep sub-bass. It’s bass is not overly boosted nor overdone so do not expect an extremely bassy sound but they are certainly neither thin, cold nor anemic in their lower frequencies.

Overall they sound fun and energetic but not overcooked.

Applying an EQ, there is a much punchier and crazy deep sound.

Through out our extreme basshead tests, the Magaosi BK50 handled up to 45% of a Fiio E12 Mont Blanc max power reaching an insane punch and depth surpassing the KZ ATE, ACZ KR06 more inline with the RevoNext QT2, Auglamour RT-1, Xiaomi Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro 2 / Quantie 2 (QTEJ03JY), KZ ZSA, SENFER EN900, KZ ZS10 but not reaching the basshead rumble and impact of the Sony MDR-EX800st, Sony MDR-EX650, KZ ZS7 / KZ ED16, TFZ Series 2, KZ ES4.

Mids & Vocals

The Magaosi BK50 has warm mids, crisp higher mids and fairly controlled mid-bass bleed. Lower vocals are cozy, slightly distant and not forward.

Overall, their mids are smooth and not harsh.

Using an EQ for the mids of the Magaosi BK50 brings up their male vocals removing their distant feel and higher mids can be pushed for an even crispier response

Highs & Treble

The highs of the Magaosi BK50 are very bright and resolve a fair amount of detail – their highs are open and non dark. Piercing highs are not present while sibilance is sporadic.

Overall, their highs are pleasant yet not recessed.

With an EQ, despite being already bright without an EQ, they can be pushed for a super enlightened and detailed response.

Sound Leak

Despite the clearly open-back design of the Magaois BK50, they do not leak a crazy amount of sound, in fact their leakage levels are lower than many average earphones.
