This model is the successor of the RevoNext QT2, a triple driver headphone. The previous model gained worldwide reputation among audio enthusiasts because of their sound quality, construction and ultra-affordable price. The RevoNext QT3 emerges as the upgraded newer model with 8 total drivers instead of 6, allowing the QT3 to have more dedicated drivers for specific audio ranges. RevoNext informs that the smaller dynamic driver is the responsible for sub-bass frequencies, the bigger DD takes care of mid-bass and the 2 balanced armatures reproduce midrange, highs and treble frequencies.

The housings of the RevoNext QT3 are constructed in metal with a solid and durable feel to them. The shape is nearly identical to the RevoNext QT2 but adds some design aesthetic details on the rear plate that starts to show a more pronounced personal look differing from the Campfire Andromeda, Campfire Orion, PHB EM-023, KZ ZS6 and KZ ZS5.

The RevoNext QT3 / RevoNext RN-QT3 bass is deep and punchy with a full-bodied sound but that not tuned to be a bass-only headphone. Their lower frequencies are strong, fun and have the capability to fulfill any music genre’s bass requirements. At the same time, their bass is not bloated nor too boosted making their lower end energetic but well-balanced and not invasive.

Mids & Vocals

The RevoNext QT3 / RevoNext RN-QT3 mids are warm and smooth with cozy vocals that do not sound forward nor laid back. Higher mids and female vocals sound clear and crisp without neither falling into harshness.

Their mids tuning follows the style of the RevoNext QT2.

With an EQ their mids become cleaner and exhibit nearly no mid-bass bleed. Male vocals sound less congested and higher mids get crispier, still their overall mids do not get boxy nor tinny.

Highs & Treble

The RevoNext QT3 / RevoNext RN-QT3 highs are very bright and resolve a nice amount of detail. Despite this, their highs are not forwardly bright and do not get too fatiguing showing no piercing peaks and mild sibilance.

Likewise with their mids, the highs of the RevoNext QT3 are inline with the RevoNext QT2 offering a bright and detailed but well-balanced highs, yet the RevoNext QT3 are brighter.

An EQ makes their highs insanely bright and detail with a revolutionary upgrade of their highs.

Sound Leak

The sound leaking out of the RevonNext QT3 might be hearable in very quiet situations or while cranking up the volume very high. Nonetheless, their level of sound leakage is slightly lower than on many other earphones.
