SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro, the latest Active Noise Cancelling TWS earphones from SoundPEATS.
The SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro has a single driver configuration with 12mm dynamic drivers, hybrid ANC, 6 cancelling mics, a low-latency gaming mode and an IPX4 waterproof rating.
The SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro show a fair aesthetic resemblance with the SoundPEATS Air3 Pro that we have reviewed long time ago. In fact, we could dare to label the Capsule 3 Pro as a clear evolution of the Air3 Pro.
The unit sports a 35mAh battery per earpiece that can provide up to 8 hours of continuous music playback time, while the case carries a 500mAh case that can top-up the total runtime to 52 hours.

Bass & Sub Bass
The large 12mm dynamic drivers show a very bassy profile.
Users can expect intense mid-bass punchy right out of the box without needing any equalization or post-processing.
Sub-bass and very deep notes are well covered by the extension of this TWS but we would not rate it as a class-leading basshead one.
Despite this, the Capsule 3 Pro has a tendency to become out of control and a bit too loose on tracks where bass should not be the ruling character.

Mids & Vocals
The SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro responded with an intensely warm sound that suffered from congestion from mid-bass bleed.
As a result of this, on bassy tracks, lower mids and male vocals can struggle to cut through the invading bleed.
The upper mids and female vocals are able to separate themselves from the potent bass but, unfortunately, tend to be a notch too forward on shouty vocals and intense peaks, which consequently introduces harshness at times.

Highs & Treble
Differently than on their midrange, this TWS presents a much cleaner and brighter highs and treble tuning.
These ranges run completely independent of the ruling shadow casted by the intense bass.
Therefore, highs will offer a compensating effect over the general sound signature that can contribute to balance the drowning personality of the loose bass response.
On the other hand, the some spiky forward peaks are present, resulting in hearable fatiguing sibilance.

Sound Isolation
The SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro are active noise cancelling earphone, which means that the unit is capable of cancelling and isolating from noises far better than passive headphones.
When testing this TWS, the ANC showed a massive cancelling potential which, in our measurements, showed a maximum dB cancellation of up to 45.4dB – competing and even dethroning many mainstream leading earphones on the market.
On top of that, this model offers diverse ANC modes including a transparency mode that allows users to have an awareness level of the environment while still being able to listen to music. This mode presented a noticeably efficient performance that was able to enhance surrounding noises without affecting the sound quality of the earphones.

Comfort
Despite the larger size in comparison to other TWS from SoundPEATS (such as the SoundPEATS Engine 4), the Capsule 3 Pro are noticeably light-weighted.
In addition to this, the rounded in-ear form factor and angled-pointed nozzle end provide excellent fit and overall comfort.
The earpiece might not be equipped with a rubberized section on the inner sections but they never risked from falling out at any given point, thanks to a firm and snug fit.
