The FANTECH Aria XD7 Atomic has an egg-shaped form factor and a special dual-body type which includes a removable cover that allows the mouse to transform from a hollowed one into a solid more classic style.
The mouse has 7 buttons in total when counting the 2 main clickers, the scroll wheel button, 2 side buttons, a DPI button and a Bluetooth button (the last 2 are placed on the bottom of the mouse next to the connection switch)
The new Atomic version of the FANTECH Aria XD7 has translucent frosted shells and is available in 2 different colors:
• FANTECH Aria XD7 ATOMIC Purple
• FANTECH Aria XD7 ATOMIC Blue
The frosted shell allows the internal LED light on the board to shine-through and illuminate the case with a diffused and nice final effect.
The hollowed cover of the Aria has a sort of honeycomb pattern with small rounded holes and a hidden slot for the 2.4G dongle inside the main body.
The covers of the mouse are held in place with a hot-swappable magnetic system with 3 magnet points.

The egg-shape of the FANTECH Aria XD7 gives it a manageable and optimized design that exponentially empowers its ergonomic adaptability thanks to the dual replaceable covers; allowing users to opt for the all solid cover or hollow one.
Due to the size and shape, the Aria can fit both claw and finger positioning users without compromising its ergonomic advantage.
With a mere weight of 59 grams (above 60g with the dongle) and a size of 114x65x39mm, the Aria sits as a mouse in the small and light gaming style.

The FANTECH Aria XD7 has a main ABS plastic construction material with UV matte finish covers.
Internally, the colorful mouse is equipped with high-grade gaming components such as a PixArt 3395 sensor, Huano switches, PTFE skates and on-board memory.
The mouse presented a solid build with no flex, wobbly nor creaking parts and confident clicky feedback.

The Aria sports Huano switches all-across the device with HUANO Blue Shell Pink Dot TBSPD for the main clickers, HUANO Black Shell White for the side buttons and HUANO Black Shell Blue Dot for the scroll wheel.
The TTC Gold scroll wheel encoder shows per-notch audible feedback and a clear tactile feedback per step while offering sufficient resistance on each step.
The main clickers have a light and fast response with no pre travel while the side buttons show a noticeable amount of pre travel for the 1st front side button and less pre travel for the rear one.

Unlike other similarly shaped gaming mouses such as the Zaopin Z1 PRO, the FANTECH Aria XD7 is a tri-mode mouse and not limited to only 2 connections modes.
The 3 modes available for the FANTECH include a wired USB-C with a detachable cable, a Bluetooth wireless connection and a 2.4G wireless with the bundled dongle.

SOUND

If we compared the FANTECH Aria XD7 vs FANTECH HELIOS PRO II, the Aria shows a much more stealthier sound profile with a lower dB output in every single switch, clicker and button. Also the Aria presents a higher pitched sound flavor.
Despite the stealthier sound in comparison, the Aria is not a silent mouse, all clickers offer audible feedback.

PERFORMANCE

The FANTECH Aria XD7 can reach up to 1000Hz polling rate, which makes it well-spec’ed for gaming purposes.
The 1K rate is available in wired and 2.4G wireless modes, which both showed the same snappy and accurate response on all tests.
The mouse exhibited optimal performance in all departments such as tracking, accuracy, clickers response and connectivity stability.
The Aria XD7 also is able to provide the same sliding efficiency as the HELIOS PRO II with low friction and the exact same travel distance while applying equally strong pushing/pulling force.
On top of that, whenever the Fantech Aria XD7 (and any other mouse) was paired with Fantech StrikePad mousepads, the sliding and friction performance got exponentially boosted; allowing a clear advantage and improvement in speed, tracking, resistance and optimized kinetic, dynamic and static friction.
The main clickers presented instant response to inputs and extreme ease to spam click when needed with no delay, while the front side button was a little bit “slower” due to the amount of pre-travel, but nothing that should compromise your hardcore gaming sessions.

The software of the FANTECH Aria XD7 Atomic has an intuitive UI with large and clear fonts, icons and graphical representations of the mouse and buttons.
The software allows all customizations, settings and reprogramming access, including: Switches/buttons remapping, Response time, Macros, DPI settings, polling rate, Sensor settings, profiles and presets.

The Aria has a battery capacity that is usually seen in many gaming mouses, reaching a capacity of 300mAh, which offers a good compromise between weight and runtime per charge.
