DESIGN
4.5/5
Being a true 104-keys, 100% keyboard, the Redragon TERRAFLARE K762 PRO does not make any compromises regarding usability and inclusion of keys functions.
Aesthetically, the keyboard looks nice and clean with the use of 3 shades and violet and white colors that give it a refreshing and contrasty feel.
On the top right corner, the keyboard holds a display screen and a knob, while sitting right above the arrow keys there is a wide RGB strip light with dynamic effects.
To improve the ergonomics, the bottom is equipped with 2-step adjustable feet and very rubberized feet addons.
The Redragon Terraflare K762 PRO can be chosen in 2 different colors; white purple or white blue.
DS
DISPLAY SCREEN
4.25/5
The display screen is the same style and inherits the same UI that we have found on other newer keyboards from the brand; and this is a good thing.
In fact, the 1.41″ screen is able to provide many usable info and details while, also, offering a much better readability, colors, sharpness and angle of view than other displays of other competitors.
Part of the functions of the screen include:
Time
Date
Battery
Connectivity
Mode
Caps, Num and Scr Locks
Win/Mac mode
GIF animations
On top of that, the screen has a built in settings menu that allows quick access to controlling the RGB effects, language and even setting the time without needing an external software.

CONSTRUCTION & BUILD
4/5
The case of the K762 PRO has identical feel and materials as nearly all other Redragon keyboards that we have tested, which is “good” plastics.
Internally, the keyboard hides advanced quality components such as: 5-layers of sound dampening with a gasket mount design and a north-facing hot-swappable PCB.
Unlike what is usually found on many other keyboards from the brand, the knob is also made of plastic and not metal.

KEYCAPS
5/5
North-facing RGB is usually a tech detail that many keyboard enthusiast do not like but with the K762 PRO, this makes a lot of sense as the keycaps are shine-through with the fonts placed on the top section of the keycap’s body.
Shine-through is seen on ABS cheapo type of keycaps but these ones are actually made of superb PBT and have a fine gritty finish.
A further detail about the keycaps is that they have printed all the secondary Fn functions beneath each one, so you do not need to memorize nor grab the user manual to guess which Fn function is pre-programmed where.
The keycaps of the TERRAFLARE K762 PRO are the perfect example that PBT, north-facing, RGB and “outstanding” are 4 characteristics that can co-exist and excel.
The knob responds with tactile-silent feedback and serves, also, to navigate the menu UI and built-in settings.

SWITCHES
4/5
Independently of the color that you chose, the K762 PRO will come with the same type and model of switches.
Specifically, the switches included with this keyboard are of linear type and are the model MINT MAMBO.
Despite having similar specs than the OUTEMU linears seen on the EISA K686 PRO SE, we preferred the typing feel and performance of the MINT MAMBO.
MINT MAMBO linear switches tech specs
Actuation travel 2.0mm
Actuation force 40gf
Total travel 3.60mm
Pre-lubed
CON
CONNECTIVITY
4.25/5
The Terraflare can adapt to any user thanks to the 3-connectivity design that accepts 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth or detachable wired connectivity.
Redragon tends to place the USB connector on the side and, fortunately, this is not the case with this keyboard model as the USB-C port is placed on the back edge, next to the connectivity switches and the slot for the 2.4G dongle.
As a common standard by Redragon, polling rate and other deeper tech specs are not named nor declared but we can confirm by our tests that the keyboard supports NKRO.
S
SOUND
5/5
The Redragon TERRAFLARE K762 PRO with the Mambo switches responded with a refined poppy sound and a bit of thocky seasoning.
A nice detail was seeing that all stabs came perfectly pre-lubed and never presented rattling noises nor any need of manually adding lube – a defect that we found on nearly all AKKO keyboards reviewed.
B
BATTERY
3.5/5
With such nice shine-through keycaps, its handy display screen and large size we would had expected to find a larger battery inside the K762 PRO than the modest 4000mAh.
