The brand new ColorBuds 2 incorporate the newest Bluetooth v5.2 for lower consumption, longer battery life and more stable signal.
In addition to this the unit offers Quiet Max Active Noise Cancelling technology, an IPX5 waterproof rating, Qi wireless charging compatibility, fast charging, Qualcomm cVc 8.0 noise cancelling mics for phone calls and SoundID sound personalization by Sonarworks through 1MORE Music app.
A single full charge of the earpieces will grant users 8 hours of continuous use while the case adds the total runtime to 24 hours.
Moreover, being a fast charging enabled device, the unit can provide 2 hours of battery life with a fast charge of 15 minutes.
Inside, each earpiece carries a graphene composite dynamic driver.

Bass & Sub Bass
The ColorBuds 2 provide a punchy bass response with good mid-bass for many modern genres.
Nonetheless, this second version of the ColorBuds could provide less sub-bass than many bass-heavy earphones, which will make a good alternative for less sub-bass centered tracks but might not fulfill the needs of listeners searching for rumbling notes on the lower end.
On the other hand, this not overboosted tuning allows the ColorBuds 2 to provide a tighter and much cleaner bass that does not drown the whole sound of the earbuds.

Mids & Vocals
The 1MORE ColorBuds 2 offer a cozy and warm sound right out of the box, without the need of any EQ.
A pleasant and inviting tuning over the whole midrange will welcome users of the ColorBuds 2.
Lower mids and male vocals will have an intimate but not over congested sound.
In addition to this, this TWS does not suffer from any noticeable amount of mid-bass bleed, keeping lower mids agreeably clean.
Higher mids and female vocals exhibit a tuning capable of brining to the table sufficient crispness while keeping harshness within an acceptable range – of course the tolerability of harshness is subjective and will vary on each person.

Highs & Treble
This new version of the ColorBuds provide a good balance and pleasing sound over the highs and treble ranges.
With a nicely tuned sound that sits in between a bright but still gentle sound that can cover an endless gamut of genres without sounding too clinical nor analytical nor getting dark.
At the same time, this TWS is able to resolve sufficient detail for most listeners.
The only cons of the tuning of the ColorBuds 2 is a tendency to introduce some fatiguing peaks with strong treble peaks, which might include both piercing and sibilant highs.

Sound Isolation
The 1MORE ColorBuds 2 have a very good passive isolation performance and an additional Quiet Max Active Noise Cancelling to boost exponentially its cancellation potential.
In addition to this, the unit showed excellent passthrough performance, no weird sounds when using passthrough, no distortion on either passthrough and/or ANC mode and no sound variation, no sound quality loss when using ANC or passthrough.

Comfort
Using the exact same housings of the first model of the series, the 1MORE ColorBuds 2 are one of the most comfortable earphones on the market – wireless and non-wireless.
This is thanks to a very smooth and curvy form factor, small earpieces, light weighted mass and the addition of touch sensitive controls.

EQ
Response to Equalization
The whole sound spectrum was highly responsive to any EQ intervention, allowing the base sound of the ColorBuds 2 to be fine tuned according to specific preferences or boosting/attenuating isolated characteristics.
Additionally, the unit is bundled with SoundID sound personalization by Sonarworks (through the app)
