? 1MORE ComfoBuds 2, the newest model of the ComfoBuds series.
The 1MORE ComfoBuds 2 sit next to the ComfoBuds and the ComfoBuds Pro models as a brand-new model of the more affordable non-Pro line.
Design-wise, the ComfoBuds 2 look identical to the first version, both on the earpieces, housing and even the flat and elongated case.
Inside, the ComfoBuds 2 feature a 13.4mm dynamic driver, a new Bluetooth 5.2, 4 environmental noise cancelling mics and fast charging compatibility (a partial charge of 15 minutes can provide up to 3 hours of battery life).
In addition to this, the unit offers a dedicated Game Mode for lower latency, an IPX5 waterproof rating and up to 24 hours of battery life (8 hours of runtime from the earpieces + 16 hours provided by the case)
By using the 1MORE Music app, users will have access to 12 EQ presets tuned by the specialized Sonarworks team.

Bass & Sub Bass
Seeing the earbud styled nozzles and the past behavior of the ComfoBuds, our editors expected a conservative bass response from the ComfoBuds 2.
As a surprise to our team, the 1MORE ComfoBuds 2 provide plenty mid-bass with a shaking punchiness and a very deep reaching sub-bass that even provides a gentle rumble to the ears on very deep and intense sub-bass notes.
Bassy earphone lovers will feel satiated by the bass response of the ComfoBuds 2.
Despite the strong bass tuning, 1MORE did a superb job to keep its upper bass decently under control without drowning their midrange.

Mids & Vocals
As a second version of the ComfoBuds TWS, users might expect a similar sound tuning to the first model.
Instead the brand has approached the newer model with a totally retuned sound and way different style.
Right out of the box, the midrange of the ComfoBuds 2 will greet listeners with a very warm and cozy sound.
Male vocals and lower mids will sound rich and full with an inviting sound that does sound relaxed but never distant.
Upper mids and female vocals provide an equally emphasized sound that can expand the calm and relaxed sound appreciated on the lower and middle midrange.
As a result, the 1MORE ComfoBuds 2 are a very pleasant earphone to listen to with no harshness issues and becoming a perfect companion for listeners liking warm mids that still are not necessarily congested.

Highs & Treble
Highs on the ComfoBuds 2 show a dark tint and bit of confusion for more demanding listeners.
Their highs and treble ranges will not be as resolving or bright/open as other multi and hybrid-driver headphones on the market but could be adapted for listeners who prefer an upper end that does not compete with the rest of the sound.

Sound Leak
The leaking sound out of the ComfoBuds 2 can be rated as slightly stronger than most average headphones.
This makes it hearable by nearby people on quite situations and not adapted for in-library use but will not be an issue while daily commuting.

Sound Isolation
By the nature of its design and closer proximity to an earbud than to an in-ear earphone, the 1MORE ComfoBuds 2 did not excel in the sound isolation department.
Nonetheless, their isolation will be sufficient on normally noisy situations.

Comfort
The ComfoBuds 2 nozzles are certainly not the most commonly seen; as so, opinions about its fit and comfort might be controversial.
Our experience, though, was the same as with the first model of the series (and sharing the exact same housings); which is a very well achieved compromise between comfort and stability with a less tight fit than in-ears but a way more secure one than earbuds.
