The hybrid multi-drivers of the 1MORE Quad Driver allow an advanced driver configuration that enables them to have specialized drivers that reproduce specific audio frequencies. The diamond-like carbon driver is tuned to reproduce mids and bass while the 3 balanced armatures are divided in two groups, two of the balanced armatures take care of highs while the remaining BA handles upper treble ranges.

The 1MORE Quad Driver In-Ear Headphones durability feels outstandingly rugged with their all-metal construction that extends from the L-plug 3.5mm stereo connector and bifurcation cable section up to the housings themselves. Moreover, the Kevlar core (oxygen-free) cable extends their durability even further and provide a tangle-free experience.

The 1MORE Quad Driver In-Ear Headphones unboxing results in: 1x hard leather carrying case, 1x airplane adapter, 1x 3.5mm to 6.35mm adapter, 1x shirt clip, 1x 1MORE Vinyl Sticker, 6 pair of eartips (14.5mm, 13mm, 12mm, 11.5mm, 10mm, standard already fitted) and 3 pair of foam tips (14.5mm, 13mm, 11mm). All the eartips come placed in a module that can be used for organizing them and storage – the module has writings that serve to identify every pair according to it’s type and size.

If the massive amount of accessories were not enough, the model comes inside a premium packaging impeccably designed with the aesthetics of a classy book and a magnetic closure system.

Bass & Sub Bass

The 1MORE Quad Driver In-Ear Headphones bass is full-bodied with nice punchy mid-bass and deep sub-bass. Their lower frequencies are fun sounding, providing a strong bass response that can cover any kind of music genre without, ever, sounding anemic nor thin. People looking for energetic and rich bass will be glad with their bass style.

Applying an EQ reveals a huge sub-bass response with crazy depth and some extra mid-bass punch but can also be used to even up and reduce their upper bass with exceptional results.

Through out our extreme basshead tests, the 1MORE Quad Driver handled up to 40% of a FiiO E12 (new model called FiiO A5) maximum power. The results showed a strong increment of mid-bass punch and an exponential deepening of sub-bass but without reaching the basshead impact and rumble of the Sony MDR-EX650, Sony MDR-EX800st, Pioneer SE-CX8 and Pioneer SE-CX9.

Mids & Vocals

The 1MORE Quad Driver In-Ear Headphones mids have a warm and cozy personality with a gentle and friendly sound that will provide long lasting music listening without fatigue nor disturbing harsh peaks. The price to pay for these gentle and smooth mids is mid-bass bleed.

1MORE found a pleasant mids tuning that results in a style that is not forward nor harsh but neither excessively congested, for normal listening sessions.

With an EQ, there is a highly-efficient reduction of mid-bass bleed and significant addition of crispness to their upper midrange without ever getting harsh peaks.

Highs & Treble

The 1MORE Quad Driver In-Ear Headphones highs resolve a nice amount of detail and provide fair brightness. Similar to their mids, the highs of the 1MORE Quad Driver are pleasant and gentle with no sharp peaks but that neither sound recessed nor absent of detail.

Piercing and sibilant highs are disturbing issues that the 1MORE Quad Driver In-Ear Headphones do NOT even remotely exhibit – treble sensitive people will fall in love with the 1MORE Quad Driver’s highs.

Their highs might give an impression of a darkish tint but they are not, it is their energetic bass that adds this sensation to their mids, a simple EQ can reveal their true highs personality.

An EQ makes their highs much more open sounding with, also, a brighter and more detailed sound – still they remain free of any piercing and sibilant highs presence.

Sound Leak

The sound leaking out of the 1MORE Quad Driver E1010 is slightly lower than on most average in-ear headphones.

At moderate volume settings their sound will not be an issue in most situations but they are not going the be the best adapted option to people looking for an exclusive use inside libraries.

Sound Isolation

The sound isolation provided by the 1MORE Quad Driver In-Ear Headphones is stronger than on many normal earphones, providing a strong partial isolation even while listening to music at a low volume setting.

The form factor of the 1MORE Quad Driver combined with the all-metal construction, rounded edges and 45° angled nozzles result in an excellent fit and comfort that can provide a secure and tight placement to withstand any daily activities, yet not generating any kind of in-ear soreness – even after long lasting listening sessions.

The well-implemented 3-button remote/mic adds up to the usability and comfort level on everyday usage with it’s dedicated volume buttons and skip/back track functions.
