The 1MORE Triple Driver BT In-Ear Headphones E1001BT features an advanced hybrid configuration with 2 balanced armatures and a triple layer dynamic driver with a titanium diaphragm.

As you might appreciate from the photographs, the 1MORE Triple Driver BT has a neckband/neckbud design with a wireless Bluetooth connection – like the 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC, 1MORE Spearhead VR BT and the 1MORE Stylish Dual-dynamic Driver BT.

The neckband has a main section with a soft silicone finish which is combined with metal ends where the buttons, charging port, battery and Bluetooth module are hold. This metal ends have a polished and classy look with vibrant-red details.

Operation & Control

The 1MORE Triple Driver BT In-Ear Headphones E1001BT has 4 buttons, one is placed on the top of the left metal end while the other 3 are placed on the inner face. Each button is easy to recognize and has a pleasant clicky feedback.

These buttons allows you to do the following:

Play/Pause Button:

• A 4 second press and hold: Power On and set to pairing mode, an off voice will prompt “searching”
• A single press: Play, Pause music
• Double click: Next track
• 3x click: Previous track

Volume UP Button:

• A single press: Volume up by 1 level
• A 1 second press and hold: Skip to next song

Volume Down Button:

• A single press: Volume down by 1 level

Power Button:

• 2 second press and hold: Power on
• 2 second press and hold, while turned on: Pairing mode
• 4 second press and hold, while turned off: Power on in pairing mode
• 4 second press and hold: Power off

Call commands:

• Single press of Play/Pause button: Answer/End call

LED Status Light: The top of the left metal end of the neckband has a LED light that indicates the status of the headphone, such as pairing mode, power on, power off, low battery, charging, etc.

Charging: The 1MORE E1001BT is charged through a USB Type-C port that is hidden under a gasket on the front of the left-sided neckband end.

The headphone fully charges in 1 hour and offers 7 hours of playback. Additionally, a quick charge of 10 minutes provides 3 hours of battery life.

When the unit is fully charged the red LED will turn off.

The eartips included are: 1x 14.5mm (silicone), 1x 13mm (silicone), 1x 12mm (silicone), 1x 11mm (silicone), 1x 10mm (silicone), 1x 14.5mm (foam), 1x 13mm (foam), 1x 11mm (foam) and the silicone pair already placed on the unit.

The packaging has a similar style of the 1MORE Triple Driver Over-Ear Headphones and the 1MORE Quad Driver In-Ear Headphones, with a solid construction and magnetic side-opening design. Important note about sound characteristics of the 1MORE Triple Driver BT In-Ear Headphones E1001BT: Placing the unit as deep as you can, the vent hole near the nozzle will, most probably get blocked, unleashing a gigantic amount of bass – this alters the perception of their whole sound signature. Therefore, our 1MORE Triple Driver BT review includes a “double-review”: one with the vent blocked and one without the vent blocked.
This ventilation hole phenomenon has been seen several times in many other headphones through our reviews.

Bass & Sub Bass

Vent not blocked

With the ventilation hole not blocked, the 1MORE Triple Driver BT In-Ear Headphones E1001BT has a very punchy mid-bass and abundant deep sub-bass but is not exaggeratedly profound.

The personality is fun and clearly energetic with the ability to cover any music genre without issues. Do not expect a conservative nor an anemic bass response from the 1MORE Triple Driver BT. Nonetheless, their bass does not take ownership of the whole sound signature, allowing space for mids and highs without making them a bass-only headphone.

Overall, their lower frequencies are full sounding but very well-balanced.

Applying an EQ, there is a noticeably deeper sub-bass response but not a radically punchier style.

Vent blocked

Once the vent gets blocked, the 1MORE Triple Driver BT disengages a monstrous amount of bass that is remarkably powerful, with a beefy mid-bass and crazily profound sub-bass.

The profile is now super energetic with plenty of punch and depth to fulfill, absolutely, any bass requirements – even for EDM and any basshead track.

The bass tuning of the 1MORE Triple Driver BT E1001BT (with the vent blocked) will make happy listeners looking for intense bass that can reach humongous levels of punch and depth.

Applying an EQ, the already huge amount of bass delivers insane punch and depth.

Mids & Vocals

Vent not blocked

With the ventilation hole unblocked, the 1MORE Triple Driver BT In-Ear Headphones E1001BT have warm, full bodied mids with crisp higher mids, alive and cozy lower/male vocals and hardly-ever congested lower vocals.

Their upper midrange does not exhibit problems with harshness.

Overall, 1MORE achieved a charming tuning of their midrange.

With an EQ, any hint of mid-bass bleed gets erased, adding clearer lower vocals.

Higher mids can be pushed for an extra-crisp style but we do not consider that they need this EQ path for their upper midrange.

Vent blocked

If the vent hole is blocked, the 1MORE Triple Driver BT In-Ear Headphones E1001BT midrange will be very warm with present mid-bass bleed that adds congestion to their lower midrange.

Higher mids will not sound recessed, still offering a crisp and clear sound.

People looking for a non-harsh nor forward tuning and a very full-sounding, cozy midrange will like them in this mode.

With an EQ, their midrange gets exceptionally refined with way cleaner lower mids and male vocals, nearly no mid-bass bleed and a sparkly higher midrange. Overall, with an EQ, their mids (with the vent blocked) gets more inline with their unblocked-vent sound style.

Highs & Treble

Vent not blocked

With the vent not blocked, the 1MORE Triple Driver BT In-Ear Headphones E1001BT highs have an excellent balance of brightness and detail – not an overcooked-bright earphone but a compelling amount.

Piercing and fatiguing peaks are not an usual problem while sibilance is mostly smooth and rarely present.

An EQ, applies a huge increment of brightness and a much more open sound, also some additional detail is resolved. Piercing highs remain under control and sibilance does not get empowered.

Vent blocked

Once the vent hole gets blocked, the 1MORE Triple Driver BT In-Ear Headphones E1001BT highs show a generous amount of detail and offer sufficient brightness for average consumers. Their highs are not overly recessed but do exhibit a darkish tint that is mostly generated by the massive bass response that colors the sound signature.

Piercing peaks do not show up, likewise sibilance is not present.

EQ’ed, their highs show a phenomenal improvement, revealing a much brighter, detailed and open sound with a strong reduction of their darkish tint.

To be fair, with the vent hole blocked, their highs response is not being modified but it is the dominant and powerful bass that interferes with the perception of their highs brightness, detail and style.

The sound leaking out of the 1MORE Triple Driver BT is a bit less stronger than most normal earphones. Their sound will mostly blend in during everyday city environments but might leak too much for library use.

Sound Isolation

The sound isolation provided by the 1MORE Triple Driver BT In-Ear Headphones E1001BT is very noticeable and substantially stronger than most average earphones.

Comfort

Moreover, the silicone neckband makes the unit very stable without risking to slide nor tilt to one side while walking.

1MORE has a proprietary App for Android and iOS devices, called 1MORE Assistant. This App offers a range of utilities that can be handy with the 1MORE Triple Driver BT In-Ear Headphones E1001BT.

Some of the functions that the 1MORE Assistant App offers are: music player, OTA firmware updates, a one-click burn-in utility and a 10-band EQ with loudness compensation, presets and custom EQ capabilities – the EQ presets available are: Close (EQ off), Custom, Popular, DBB, Vocal, Rock, Classical, Jazz, Dance, Electronic.

Conclusion

The 1MORE Triple Driver BT E1001BT are excellent Bluetooth earphones with a pleasant and well-resolved sound signature, great construction quality and comfort.

Nowadays, there is a market tendency of tuning earphones and headphones with an over-boosted V-shaped sound signature, the 1MORE Triple Driver BT aims for a more balanced tuning that distributes bass, mids and highs substantially-evenly (if you do not block the vent hole) but can also offer a very bassy profile if used with the ventilation hole blocked.

An important fact to highlight (that we already mentioned in the review) is the vent blocking effect over their bass and over the sound signature style. Beware that if you are getting an insane amount of bass, mids that tend to a very full sound with some congestion due to mid-bass bleed and highs with detail but with a darkish tint, you are blocking the vent near the nozzle. Place them a bit less profoundly by reinserting them but do not press them to the very end and the true sound of the 1MORE Triple Driver BT E1001BT will be revealed. This is not an imperceptible difference but a radical modification of their sound signature that showed a boost of their lower frequencies from their lower midrange down to the deepest sub-bass extension with an increment ranging from +3dB up to +6.5dB (aprox.)

Audiophiles will prefer to set them to the non-blocked position, while normal consumers looking for a very energetic, fun and warm sound will probably prefer the sound profile with the vents blocked.
