The CIDOO V75 PRO has a 75% layout with 81 keys and a knob for multimedia and brightness control.
CIDOO usually makes use of a retro cream color for the case of their keyboards (like seen on the CIDOO ABM066); the CIDOO V75 PRO inherits the similar nice old-fashioned retroish aesthetics but with a more grey-cream coloring gamut.
On the left hand of the knob you will see a vertical strip light that serves as a status an embellishing LED element for the keyboard – this reminded us to the light strip of the EPOMAKER EK75.
On the bottom right, you can find a metal plate with an engraved icon, this is actually a magnetically attached cover for the hidden storage slot of the dongle.
The bottom of the keyboard is equipped with 4 silicone dot-feet that have excellent grippiness and do a pristine job keeping the keyboard in place but there are not adjustable in height.
To be honest, when seeing the photos from online shops and the brand we were not very excited about the aesthetics of the CIDOO V75 PRO but as soon as we unboxed it we were surprised to find that the on-hand experience had a much more “wow” factor than we would had expected.

CIDOO has polycarbonate and metal keyboard models, the CIDOO V75 Pro is part of the premium series with a full powder coated CNC Aluminum case with a top-notch build quality and feel that is rarely found on pre-built keyboards.
As a matter of fact, we are talking about a keyboard with a total weight near 2kg (exact weight is 1.86kg) with every single element well-thought – even the knob and dongle-slot cover are fully made of metal.
Inside, the CIDOO V75 Pro has a south-facing 5-pin hot-swappable board with a multi-layer inner layering that includes a gasket-mounted design with PORON foam strips and a sandwiched IXPE switch cushion with a PORON foam layer.
The keyboard comes with pre-lubed PCBA screw-in stabilizers that have been carefully lubed from factory as they have shown impeccable performance with smooth and silent travel and no mushy nor sluggish feel.
The only detail that we found was that if you grab the keyboard and start shaking without sense, like a maniac, there was a single rattling element heard coming from the inside of the keyboard. After a brief evaluation, we found that the rattling noise was simply the dongle shaking inside the storage slot.

Unlike keycaps from other CIDOO models, the CIDOO V75 PRO has classic styled ones that provide a seamlessly clean and coherent aesthetics with the retro vibes of the keyboard.
On top of that, these are high-class PBT dye-sub keycaps with a heftily thick amount of construction material.
Somehow, the brand was able to use classic fonts with retro styled keycaps aesthetics that, still, do not look boring and blend perfectly with the overall looks of the keyboard.
The black fonts over the cream-colored keycaps give a clean and clear visual recognition of each key, even allowing to be read on dark rooms by the sole light coming from your PC monitor. The only detail to point out is that some secondary characters might be a bit too small.

The CIDOO V75 Pro comes with a single switches variant which are their own branded CIDOO Matte switches.
These are linear switches with a built-in LED slot and diffuser and quality elements such as Nylon housing and POM stem.
The switches showed no traces of scratchiness and provided a smooth but heavier actuation force and travel than many other popular linear switches.
Overall we found them to provide a satisfying operation force and linear feedback while not falling into tactile territory.
The switches are quite nice but as this section weights also the variety of switches options available prebuild from factory, the CIDOO V75 PRO cannot reach a 5/5 score here.

Wirelessly, the keyboard can connect either through a Bluetooth connection or using 2.4G wireless tech with the bundled dongle.
The wired connection works through a detachable USB-C cable connection ensuring the reliability and fast operation of a wired keyboard.
The brand has designed a recessed USB-C port section to grant a safer connection and avoiding any accidental breakage of the port.
All 3 connection modes always provided stable connectivity without any hiccups nor unexpected disconnections.

The CIDOO V75 PRO has a hot-swappable board compatible with 3/5-pin mechanical switches, allowing the replacement of switches without having to solder them.
As the keyboard is VIA-programmable, users will have no limits embarking the customization & personalization of the keyboard with total freedom to access per-key reprogramming, lighting control, macros, etc. – also the knob’s rotation and press functions can be reprogramed.
On top of that, this plus the on-board memory will make the keyboard to preserve all customizations in the keyboard itself without needing any running software to boot and apply the settings each time.
Moreover, the keyboard is serviceable and customizable at hardware level as its case is assembled with 4 screws (Allen key included), so you can easily open it and get into stabs replacement, re-lubing or apply DIY mods like dampening layering.

This CIDOO keyboard has south-facing LED, which do a better job than north-facing ones improving the backlit visuals from the user’s point of view – the keycaps are not shine-through, though.
The V75 PRO can get full use of all QMK lighting presets through VIA, plus the control of the strip LED light and even set the saturation level of the colored RGB lights (besides the typical speed and brightness of the effects)
The LED of the Fn will be lit differently than the general lighting pattern of the preset that you choose as the Fn light works as a battery and charging status indicator.

Considering the quality and amount of dampening layers, top-notch build materials, premium keycaps and well-put together assembly it is not that much of a surprise that the CIDOO V75 PRO reached this kind of superior thocky sound despite being a pre-assembled keyboard.
The CIDOO V75 Pro is so thocky, that brand even made the knob button to have a resembling thocky sound when pressed.
The CIDOO V75 Pro is in the league of the LEOBOG Hi75, regarding the droolingly thocky sound and has become one of the favorite 75% keyboards of our editors.
Pinging, rattling, echo, resonance and/or hollow sounds are characteristics that you will near hear coming from the CIDOO V75 PRO.
