Bass & Sub Bass
Unfortunately, this Xiaodu TWS is unable to reproduce sub-bass with a huge roll-off and even cut-off of it’s bass extension.
Regarding mid and upper bass, this TWS can provide a slight quantity but will always fall short of deepness and punchiness.
To be fair and more accurate, the earphone is actually able to reproduce quite a bunch of bass but due to the very loose and earbud design, there is no seal on it’s ears placement making it loose the needed tightness to reproduce bass.
If forced in the ears with strength and holding them there, users will experience the actual very punchy and boosted bass the drivers are actually able to reproduce.

Mids & Vocals
The Xiaodu Du Smart Buds offer a fairly clean lower midrange that does not suffer from mid bass bleed but could lack fullness and body.
On the other hand, male vocals tend to sound laid back and a bit distant.
The upper end of the midrange exhibits a more forward tuning that can overshadow their lower midrange and add some harshness at times.

Highs & Treble
The Xiaodu Du Smart Buds might not win any awards for their detail and resolution but do not sound as dark nor muffled as some other average budget TWS.
Regarding fatiguing peaks, the Xiaodu showed tolerable sibilance and mild piercing spikes.
On the other hand, it is fair to note that this might be a TWS better adapted for phone calls than for music listening sessions.

The smooth surface gives this TWS a comfortable fit but due to the lack of rubberized sections, the earbuds can potentially fall off the ears on more intense activities.
