Tronsmart OpenFly 2 Pro

We are reviewing the Tronsmart OpenFly 2 Pro, a cheap priced and cheap performing TWS from a budget brand.

Like many of the products from Tronsmart, the OpenFly try to rip off the design and style of big brands but they usually under-deliver compared to these big brands and yet do not offer a price as cheap as other budget brands as to justify choosing this over any others.

Accessories & Packaging

The Tronsmart comes poorly packed in a box that does not include any sort of accessories beside a short USB cable.

Bass & Sub Bass

Many open-ear earphones tend to fall short in the bass department and the Tronsmart OpenFly 2 Pro are the perfect example of underperformer earphones that have been badly designed in the acoustic area.

Mids & Vocals

Similar to their lower frequencies, the midrange of the Tronsmart OpenFly 2 Pro are nothing but shameful performers with male vocals, female vocals and overall balance that feels just wrong.

We did not find a single reason to decide to grab these ones instead of any other TWS out there.

One thing is coherent here, the highs and treble sounded as bad as the rest of the frequency ranges.

Truly nothing to be even worthy of spending time writing about.

Sound Isolation

One thing is certain, these are open-ears and provide zero isolation as most expect from an open-ear.

Comfort

Most modern open-ear earbuds truly nail it in the comfort and fit department with soft and gentle earhooks or even rotating, adjustable hooks.

The Tronsmart, instead, fails miserably here; with chunky hook ends, overly tight fit and much stiffer arcs. All qualities that seem even been purposedly designed to make it a painfully, fatiguing and epic-uncomfortable TWS.

Response to EQ

With the initial, out-of-the-box sound quality that the Tronsmart offer, there was absolutely no chance that even a Grammy-award producer could fix its sound through an equalizer.
