The 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC In-Ear Headphones E1004BA unboxing results in a nice metal flight adapter, a soft carrying pouch, an USB Type-C to 3.5mm audio cable, a charging cable, 1x1MORE sticker, 1x 10.5mm eartips, 1x 12.5mm eartips, 1x 15.5mm eartips and 4 pairs of ear secure “hooks” attachments (1x18mm, 1×19.5mm, 1×21.5mm, 1x23mm) – additionally there is a 4th pair of eartips already placed on the unit.

The packaging is the same outstanding book-alike design and size as seen on the 1MORE Quad Driver In-Ear Headphones and 1MORE Triple Driver BT with the exact same color pattern as the last one.

Bass & Sub Bass

The 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC In-Ear Headphones E1004BA bass offers a fair amount of punch and can get sufficiently deep for most genres.

Do not expect a bass-centered sound response out of them, instead they are better tuned for listeners that prefer balanced bass, non-invasive lower frequencies yet that enjoy some body and energy from their earphone’s lower frequencies.

We highlighted that these are not bassy earphones but it is important to note that they are neither thin, shallow nor anemic; let’s say balanced with a sight tendency to conservative.

This is NOT an earphone for listeners liking a super-boosted and bass-only sounding model. Instead, the 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC will please users looking for a cleaner and more balanced sound.

A, clearly, punchier and deeper response can be obtained by a custom EQ but we consider a pity to ruin their smoothly balanced and pleasant bass.

Testing the model with it’s Active Noise Cancelling turned on in any setting and in Voice Enhancement mode did not present any important sound modification.

Mids & Vocals

The 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC In-Ear Headphones E1004BA mids have warm but clear lower midrange, male vocals are not congested but can be slightly laid back and gentle on some tracks.

Mid-bass does not bleed into their midrange while higher mids are crisp and clear but not forward.

Despite this, moderately harshy peaks can arise from time to time.

With an EQ, lower mids and male vocals can be pushed for a more present response and less laid back, with efficient results. As with every midrange EQ, just watch out to not overdo it to avoid introducing boxy and tinny sounding vocals. The rest of their midrange does not need much tuning so we recommend to leave the upper midrange alone.

Exactly as with their bass response, switching ANC or Voice Enhancement on did not modified the sound. Yet, on mids there was a kind of interference or strange distortion for brief seconds when changing ANC mode, this odd thing disappeared after a couple of seconds (usually within 5 to 10 seconds after switching) and never came back.

Highs & Treble

The 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC In-Ear Headphones E1004BA highs are detailed and pleasantly bright. Their highs are not excessively boosted nor recessed and offer a pleasant highs experience that can cover any genre without getting disturbingly sharp nor lacking brightness and detail.

Nonetheless, these are not highs and treble centered earphones, there are models that are intensively focused on these ranges. The balanced tuning gives them a sound that is nearly free of excessive piercing and mild sibilant peaks.

An EQ adds insane amount of detail and brightness that can be unleashed without getting particularly fatiguing peaks – impressive.

Turning ANC on or Voice Enhancement did not show any pronounced sound modification.

Sound Leak

The 1MORE Dual BT ANC have a sort of open-back design and this is never a feature that helps on sound leakage. The sound leaking out will not be humongous but consider that they will not be a good option for people looking for a library earphone.

Sound Isolation

The passive sound isolation provided by the 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC In-Ear Headphones E1004BA is noticeable and much more efficient than average headphones.

In addition to this, the Active Noise Cancelling of the 1MORE E1004BA can intensify their isolation capabilities.

The 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC has 3 settings of active noise cancellation: off, on and deep noise reduction. To change between these settings, users have to move the top left neckband’s switch towards the ANC direction. Additionally, the headphone offers a Voice Enhancement mode to have a higher level of awareness while wearing the unit; to activate this mode the same ANC switch needs to be pushed in direction of the back of the neckband.

Measuring their efficiency of noise cancelling and awareness modes they showed: in ANC “deep noise reduction” setting, a maximum of up to whopping -37dB but only peaking in the +/-3000Hz range, an average of -16dB to -12dB in the 375Hz up to 100Hz and with the least efficient range being from 350Hz and below average -10dB or less; in ANC standard setting, the most efficient range was also on the +/-3000Hz but with a less evident -19dB and a way more subtle general reduction averaging in -6dB to -9dB distributed fairly even across the range below 800Hz. This is actually a positive feature from the 1MORE Dual BT ANC as it allows to very differently tuned ANC profiles to cover situations where a stronger isolation is wanted or switch it to a much less evident and subtle one.

On the Voice Enhancement mode, the headphone showed a massive boosting in the +/-10000Hz range reaching up to +60.5dB and a general average of +13dB on most of the remaining audio spectrum below 7.3kHz.

Comfort

The housings of the 1MORE Dual E1004BA have rounded forms and angled nozzles that result in excellent fit and comfort. In addition to this, the neckband is phenomenally comfortable and pleasant either over the skin than while wearing clothes with a higher-collar section.

The fit is extremely secure and can withhold it’s place under any activity, yet if you need a fit solid as a rock, the headphone comes with 3 attachment accessories that can be used to strengthen even more their fit – this accessories are usually named “hooks” or “earwings” on other models such as the Jaybird Freedom; 1MORE calls it “secure ears”.

If you know some Xiaomi headphones you will notice that the earpieces of the 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC In-Ear Headphones has a great resemblance in form factor and design with the Xiaomi Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro HD and the Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth Neckband Earphones, Xiaomi Mi Noise Cancelling Earphones, Xiaomi Mi Noise Cancelling USB Type-C. This is not just a coincidence, nor a classic case of copycat between brands, 1MORE manufactures and has manufactured most of Xiaomi headphones.

The neckband itself is the exact same (wonderful) from the 1MORE Triple Driver Bluetooth In-Ear Headphones, with a thick and very rubberizes neckband section and metal silver-colored ends with red accents.
