? DUDIOS T8, an extremely affordable TWS with compelling specs for the asking price.

The DUDIOS T8 feature a single dynamic driver with a diameter of 6mm, a very high waterproof rating (IPX7) and touch controls.

Despite the cheap price, the touch sensitive system of the DUDIOS T8 is equipped with volume controls (both up and down) – a very handy feature to have all basic controls with simple single or multiple taps.

The internal battery placed in each earpiece allows the unit to provide as much as 5.5 hours of use and up to 35 hours in total when combining the OTG charges that the battery pack can provide.

To fully charge the earpieces need 1.5 hours while the case/battery pack is fully charged in 2 hours through the USB Type-C connection found on the rear bottom of the case.

DUDIOS is a very young brand with just a couple of TWS; the company’s catalog can only be found on their Amazon seller shop.

Bass & Sub Bass

Usually many TWS with price ranges of $20-$25 tend to be overly boosted over lower frequencies.

Instead, the DUDIOS T8 offer a different approach with a less invasive bass tuning that widens their capability to cover more genres than a bass-only sounding earphone.

At the same time, their bass does not lack punch as to become a bass-anemic sounding earphone.

Despite being that their mid-bass punch adds fun to any track, when looking at sub-bass, it does tend to lack depth on many modern genres that are “depth-hungry”.

With an EQ, punch can be pushed into a very mid-bass heavy sound but sub-bass will not show any drastic effect.

Mids & Vocals

The DUDIOS T8 have warm but non bloated mids thanks to a controlled mid-bass bleed that does not over-congests their lower midrange.

Users should expect a fair balance of warmth and clarity over lower and mid midrange frequencies.

Moreover, this DUDIOS TWS provide pleasant male vocals that are not too distant nor too forward but with a bit of a laid back flavor that can feel a bit overshadowed by it’s upper midrange.

Said so, their upper mids sit within an acceptably mild harshness level that can only arise with very hot peaks.

An EQ can compensate the laid back effect without introducing any boxy issues nor deteriorating their vocals.

Highs & Treble

The highs and treble of the DUDIOS grant sufficient brightness for most casual sessions without becoming overly fatiguing.

In spite of this, it is fair to note that demanding listeners might find this TWS a bit shy of detail.

Regarding piercing highs and sibilance, the T8 do a excellent job keeping both of them under control with nearly no spikes.

Experienced users with custom equalization will be able to squeeze out a much brighter and more detailed sound while, still, conserving their original smooth, fatigue-free sound.

Sound Isolation

These TWS are able to provide a fair amount of isolation from the environment, yet reaching absolute isolation with them will be a bit more difficult than other more efficient models.

Comfort

The light weight of the unit and using a proven truncated cone design with angled nozzles grant an excellent level comfort for any listening session.

Moreover, the touch sensitive rear section with volume controls add up to their usability and ease of use.

Response to Equalization

Both midrange and highs can be efficiently fine tuned with a custom EQ and the DUDIOS T8 will respond with great success with a cleaner midrange and a much brighter and more detailed highs/treble range, yet their sub-bass was not easy to get it deeper with little to negligible effects with any given EQ.
