The device comes inside a white rectangular box, inside the smartband is well-protected by cushiony protections.

Design

The Alfawise B7 Pro has a clean and refined design with a flat profile and clean unibody-styled looks.

The wristband has textured pattern with diagonal lines while the main unit has a black front panel and a silver bottom.

The overall aesthetics reminded us to the HUAWEI Honor 4 sports smartband – the main housing connects almost seamlessly to the wristband.

On the bottom of the main unit the heart rate sensor can be easily seen.

Operation & Control

The Alfawise B7 Pro has 1 touch sensitive button placed on the bottom edge of the screen.

The operation of the unit works exclusively through this one-button as the screen itself is not touch sensitive nor accepts gestures like the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 – this is an operation and control that is more related with the Diggro X3/ Microwear X3.

Being that the device has only 1 button, their usage is quite simple and easy:

The operation and navigation of the menus is quite straightforward:

• One tap: navigates to next screen
• Tap & hold: enters/confirm

Battery Life

The Alfawise B7 Pro is equipped with a 90 mAh LiPo battery that gives  20 days of standby time and 7 to 10 days of usage.

Charging: To charge the Alfawise B7 Pro you will need to remove the strap side indicated with an arrow and “USB” writing on the bottom of the main unit.

After removing this side of the strap you see a male USB connector that simply needs to be connected to an USB power adapter that provides 5V and 0.5A to 1A.

A full charge with an empty battery takes approximately 2 hours.

Construction & Build

The Alfawise B7 Pro has a solid glass screen and metal body with a much more rugged feel than the Xiaomi Mi Band 3.

The device has no flimsy nor cheap feeling materials giving it a extra-durable sensation.

It’s IP67 waterproof protects them against water and dust ensuring a longer life and durability without having to worry about daily normal usage.

Testing the heart rate monitor it showed a relatively accurate reading +/- 1 to 2 bpm with the Xiaomi Mi Band 3.

Screen

Despite the super affordable price, the brand packed a 0.97” screen TFT screen on the Alfawise B7 Pro.

Alfawise does not states the resolution of the screen but it looks very sharp with no visible “pixelation”  and has vibrant colors with vivid and attractive icons and animations.

The screen is easy to read, easier than the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 and the Diggro X3 thanks to very large numbers in the clock screen.

Moreover, the brightness is strong and visible outdoors surpassing the visibility and brightness of the aforementioned models even while setting the Alfawise B7 Pro 3/4th of it’s maximum brightness power.

For the price and in comparison to similarly priced competitors, the screen of the Alfawise B7 Pro is beautiful and has a remarkable performance.
