The mifo FiiTii HiFiDOTS have a true wireless design with a triple driver hybrid driver configuration that includes 2 balanced armature drivers and a single 10mm dynamic driver (with PU+DLC diaphragms) per earpiece.
Certainly, this mifo earphones have a gorgeous and unique design that sets apart from the repetitive TWS designs seen on the actual market. In addition to this, the metal case has a hefty feel that adds up to exude premium quality.

The mifo FiiTii HiFiDOTS are superb true wireless earphones with a delightfully balanced sound, premium specs and gorgeous design - we just hope that the brand fixes the mobile app bugs and the odd multiple listing on pairing menus.

Bass & Sub Bass
Bass on the mifo FiiTii HiFiDOTS exhibit an harmonized tuning where mid bass and sub bass do not compete with each other.
Additionally, both offer the right amount of intensity as to provide good punch and depth, yet not becoming bouncy nor drowning the whole sound signature.
User should expect a nicely tight and clean bass with sufficient sub-bass response as to sound balanced and capable of covering a way wider variety of genres than most normal headphones – of course, by now you should have understood that this is not a basshead earphone.
As a point of reference, this TWS has a bass flavor more inline with well-tuned open-back headphones than bass-centered in-ear headphones – but with a deeper rich than many open-back models.

Mids & Vocals
The lower midrange shows a clear balance towards a cozy and warm feel but without showing problems such as laid back male vocals.
On top of that, low mid tones and deep pitched vocals do not get overpowered by the upper end of the bass response, allowing a relaxed but defined low mids extension.
Higher mids are able to respond with good clarity and crispness to open up the midrange while female vocals sound alive and clear without turning into shouty nor annoying.
Moreover, the HiFiDOTS do not show traces of harshness.
This TWS achieves a full bodied and warm midrange that does not suffer excessively from the typical drawbacks of this tuning.

Highs & Treble
Highs on the mifo FiiTii HiFiDOTS preserve a coherent tuning with the rest of the sound spectrum, with an intimate but never muffled sound.
The brand has done a very good job balancing highs and treble on this earphones by offering an agreeable, non-fatiguing sound but adding sufficient brightness as to not sound dark and muffled.
It is fair to note that this will not be a TWS with analytical highs, instead it will be perfectly adapted for everyday listening and long use without inducing disturbingly hot highs and peaks.
In fact, this FiiTii earphones rarely show piercing highs and barely any intense sibilance.

Sound Isolation
Passive isolation showed an average performance compared to most average closed-back headphones but the HiFiDOTS are also equipped with ANC technology.
When activating their ANC, the isolating potential of the earphone showed a massive improvement with a very efficient active cancelling of surrounding noises.
In total, the Active Noise Cancelling options include 3 modes: ANC mild, ANC strong and a Transparency mode that enhances the awareness of the surroundings while still being able to listen to music.
As a side note, the mobile app FiiTii seems to be in their early stages (v1.0.1) as the pairing process was not working correctly. Following the “Add Device” procedure and pairing through Bluetooth menus did not made the app recognize the HifiDOTS; the only way of getting it working was also doing the “Manual setting” procedure 2 times and selecting an odd doubled HiFiDots.app selection – nonetheless, the HifiDots had to be re-added each time that the app was closed and reopened.

Comfort
The earpieces of the FiiTii HiFiDots have a very small footprint with a rounded form factor that fits smoothly and snuggly inside the ears. This grants both a pain-free experience and firm/secure in-ear placement – even on long lasting and/or intensive use.
Additionally, the touch-enabled back plates showed a highly responsive control that includes also volume control.
Once you get through the buggy pairing process of the app (see more about this on the “Sound Isolation” section), you will gain access to customization options that enhance comfort and usability by allowing 9 custom touch functions with single, double, triple, 5-click and press and hold (each earpiece side can be customized independently) – yet not a wide array of custom functions are offered per gesture – users can also access a 10-band custom EQ and light effect customization options for the 4 lights on the back of each earpiece.
