? AWEI T19, a true wireless earphone that offers much more than what it seems by it’s price.
The Awei T19 features an 8mm dynamic driver in each earpiece, touch sensitive controls and Bluetooth 5.0.
The T19 are rated at 5 hours of battery life per charge plus the added OTG charges offered by the case that, according to the manufacturer, add up to 50 full charges – this would result in a total battery playback time of 250 hours! (yet the brand also refers to the total runtime as 85 hours; in any way both 85 hours or 250 hours are both crazy battery life time)
This whopping amount of extra battery life is thanks to the internal 2500mAh battery carried by the case. In addition to this, the case of the unit can be used as an external USB power bank to charge any USB device (for example, your smartphone)
To have clear information about the status of the case/power bank and its charge, Awei added a handy LCD screen that informs a 3-digit power charge status in percentage and a power input or output (power bank) mode message.
We wished that every other TWS would come with such an useful LCD screen as the Awei T19.
It is fair to highlight that the case/power bank comes fully discharged, so buyers should remember to charge the unit when receiving it.

Bass & Sub Bass
Bass of the Awei T19 is noticeably fun right out of the box, with no need of any EQ intervention.
Their rich and meaty mid-bass will add excitement to any track being listened to while it’s deep reaching sub-bass will add a layer of satisfaction when listening to bassy songs and genres.
This TWS will never lack but will be far from classifying as model with a tight or refined bass due to the extra boosted tuning and bounciness.
On the other hand, it’s pumping bass and punchiness will be a great option for people that enjoy bassy genres or to want to use it for sports and hitting the gym.

Mids & Vocals
The Awei T19 have a pronouncedly warm midrange with clear presence of mid-bass bleed.
The lower end of the midrange will gain a full but congested sound due to the aforementioned bleed coming from it’s powerful and loose bass response.
The mid and upper end of it’s midrange carries on the “shy” tuning over it’s crispness and the non-vocals centered sound.
This will translate in female vocals that will not gain the main role in most listening sessions but will grant no harsh spikes.
Overall, the T19 will offer a non-emphasized mids and vocals response that can offer a harshness free experience with plenty warmth but at the cost of congestion and a “busy” feel for more demanding listeners..

Highs & Treble
Unfortunately, the T19 falls short of both brightness and detail when evaluating it’s highs and treble performance.
The model presents a dark tuning with a very slight capability of resolving detail.
On top of the that, their upper end shows a strong rolled-off response that will not help their overall muffled feel of the sound signature.
On the other hand, the Awei T19 recessed highs ensure a free of sibilance and piercing highs experience.
To be clear, this Awei TWS will not be “unlistenable” by some average users but it will find a restricted public that will find acceptably ok their dark sound.

Sound Isolation
The passive isolation of this TWS is immediately perceived, even without any music playing.
Their isolation will easily surpass most average headphones and reach absolute attenuation of any surrounding noises with ease.

Comfort
With tiny earpieces that have and all-curved form factor and no sharp edges, the Awei T19 offer an outstanding level of comfort and pain free usage.
On top of that, the earphone sit flush and tightly in the ears with no risk of falling or slipping out – even when using it with the small eartips.
As a side note; the brand does not mention all the touch controls available on the Awei T19.
In fact, they forgot to list that this TWS includes the useful volume up and volume down touch controls by simply touching and holding the back plates.

EQ
Response to Equalization
The Awei T19 might not have the best midrange and highs right out of the box but they showed a very efficient response to EQ with remarkable improvement our it’s lacking base SQ.
Their mids were able to gain a miles better sounding lower and upper mids that sounded much less congested, reduced bleed and more alive female vocals. Highs, as well, showed an exponential increment in both brightness and detail.
Despite the strong retuning by an EQ, users should still expect a darkish and congested sound signature.

With a generous USB power bank bundled and a crazy battery life of 250 hours (or maybe 85 hours - read the intro), at an insanely low price, the AWEI T19 are a good alternative when looking for a non-audiophile bang for buck combo with a very bass centered sound signature - if you do not mind their mids and highs performance.
The Awei T19 will surely not be our first recommendation if you’re a looking for your first TWS or a mainstream earphone/headphone but combined with it's fun bassy sound, waterproof rating, strong isolation, comfortable fit, touch controls and long battery life; this will be a clear choice for sports and to hit the gym.
